It’s a lot of fun if you’re playing with your group of friends. Don’t be misled by comments saying it’s the same as the old one; the goal of the game is theft, so naturally, that aspect remains the same. They’ve revamped and improved the graphics.

Performance is great, lots of active games and netcode looks fine. Game is okay overall.

I can finally recommend this game! I've been waiting since release for this game to become good, and after trying it again nearly two years later, I have to say: bravo, Starbreeze. It finally has that smooth, satisfying feeling that made Payday 2 so enjoyable. The game is definitely moving in the right direction. While there are still a few things I miss, I know the developers are continuing to improve it. Here are a few additions and improvements I'd still like to see: - A firing range where you can test weapons and recoil. - Collectibles like in Payday 2, giving players something fun to search for on every map. - More variety and depth in the talent trees. Right now, they feel a bit dull and bland, in my opinion. - A fix for Overkill weapon when you drop it, it occasionally falls inside or behind walls, making them impossible to pick up. - I'll add on to this list when something comes up - Overkill weapon delivery gets stuck on random places when you are too deep inside a building. - Chat is glitchy after game and under loadout phase. - Sometimes after a completed heist you just get stuck on complete screen without it going to the rewards etc. - Chat option on main screen when you are in party, now you have to start a heist to chat with your party.

[h1]In its current state the acceptable price for this game is 15-20$ so it is worth buying on sale.[/h1] PayDay is about [b]heists[/b], [b]music[/b], and [b]customisation[/b]: [h2]Heists:[/h2] + I really liked all maps that I played and had no problems with them. The gameplay wise PayDay 3 has a good core + New QOL Features (Hostages are more useful now, animations and unmasked gameplay were really nice + Liked movement flow - Guns feel kind of weak, especially on very hard and overkill - No planning screen and favors are locked 1 per player. This means you have no map to get a basic understanding of your surroundings and can not place support items where you want them. [h2]Music:[/h2] + Not much to say. It is good especially if you are into similar genres(electronic/techno/house) [h2]Customization:[/h2] This is the weakest part of the game right now. There is not much you can spend your money on - Small Amount of guns to choose from - Small of free clothes/gloves that is clattered with color variations of the same item. - Very small amount of attachments and poor weapon painting options. [h1]Performance[/h1] Is decent. On high settings I get my full 144 fps without drops. HOWEVER there is 1 lag spike that freezes entire game for 2-3 second that appears from time to time and I think it is more server related because me and my brother get it almost at the same time. No significant gameplay issue were caused by this so it is simply annoying. [b]Overall:[/b] I think that as a PayDay game it now has a good core but lacks finishing and should be early access. If the devs add Planning screen and more non DLC ways to spend earned cash this game would finally become a worthy successor for PayDay 2
