good
Improved and better than the poor launch and still improving now. It's fun but with it's issues and not bad for on sale. I'd still recommend Payday 2 over 3 if not owned already. As an Assault only player, I'm very happy to see "Stealth Only" heists to have Loud options now, something they should always have. Even the stealth is more fun here despite how short I do it before going loud.
Better Stealth than PAYDAY 2.
Rough Launch, Much better now. Currently lacking an endgame but good replayability in different playstyles in heists so far. Thumbs up from me.
go play PD2
This feedback comes from someone who never played the famous Payday 2, but has spent a lot of time playing stealth-focused games like Hitman and Shadow Tactics, which I absolutely love. 1. Raid rather than Stealth One thing I really enjoy about Payday 3 is that it takes a step further by having crazy puzzle mechanics i havent seen in any other games ive played before. Planning a route, manipulating guards, and solving the map feels very satisfying. However, I feel like the game leans much more toward raid gameplay than stealth gameplay. The tools intended to support a stealth approach often feel too limited or too weak, especially on larger maps. 2. Tools Most stealth gadgets have an extremely limited number of uses. Yes, I know there are skills that improve them, but even with those they still feel underpowered. For example, why can't we pick gadgets back up after we're done using them? If you've already cleared one section of the map, those gadgets become useless once you reach another area. This becomes especially noticeable on the larger heists, which I actually enjoy because they offer more room for planning. Take the Motion Sensor as an example. I place it, use it to deal with maybe two guards, and then it's gone forever—even though there might still be twenty guards patrolling the rest of the map. On top of that, its detection radius feels tiny. It barely covers half of a bedroom. Three meters feels incredibly small for a gadget that's so limited in uses. 3. Searching Phase Games like Hitman or Shadow Tactics let you experiment. If your timing is wrong, guards eventually continue their patrols and you get another opportunity. In Payday 3, if I distract a guard by hacking their phone through the skill tree and mistime it, that's it. That guard can never be distracted that way again. Your only realistic options become: - start eliminating guards or restart the entire heist. Stealth should encourage experimentation instead of punishing a single missed opportunity so severely. I honestly don't understand why the Search Phase is infinite. If guards become suspicious, they should search the area for a while, but eventually conclude that nothing is there and return to normal patrols. Right now, once you trigger a search, you're basically forced into one of two choices: - start eliminating guards or restart the entire heist. Since the game already allows you to hide, it feels natural that guards would eventually give up searching if they can't find anyone. 4. The Mask Why can't we jump or crawl through vents without wearing the mask? Entering a ventilation shaft is already an illegal action. Whether you're wearing a mask or not doesn't change that. If someone sees you climbing into a vent, you're caught either way. It feels like an artificial restriction rather than meaningful gameplay. Also activating the Mask should take 2 Seconds longer incase of missclicking and unmasking yourself should be avaiable to become unoticed again. Also its stupid that once you missclick you have to restart the heist. Also why does wearing the Mask trigger if you take fall damage? And why cant you use Ziplines unmasked? 5. Enemy marking needs improvement This is probably one of the biggest frustrations. You can mark guards and cameras, which is great... but only one target at a time, and the mark disappears after only a few seconds. Imagine trying to navigate a room with many guards and many cameras, Five seconds for one objective marked isn't enough to build a mental picture of the room. Without investing heavily into detection-reduction skills, it's incredibly easy to get spotted simply because you lose track of where everyone is. Stealth games are built around gathering information before making your move. The current marking system doesn't really support that. It should feel rewarding using Cameras to check the Areas and Mark Objects while also having multiple things marked with far more than some 5 seconds. Final Thoughts I completely understand that the developers want stealth to feel difficult and rewarding. I don't want stealth to become easy. However, there's a difference between challenging and restrictive. Many of the current mechanics leave very little room for improvisation or recovering from small mistakes. Once something goes slightly wrong, the best strategy often becomes either killing everyone or restarting the heist. That isn't nearly as satisfying as adapting your plan and successfully recovering. Difficulty settings already exist for players who want a harder experience. Buffing stealth tools wouldn't necessarily make stealth easy—it would simply make it more engaging and encourage players to actually use stealth instead of feeling forced into loud gameplay. I'm being critical because I genuinely want stealth to be as enjoyable as it has the potential to be. I hope the game continues to receive updates, and I'd love to see the stealth approach expanded and strengthened in future patches. As i said before i never played Payday 2 but different Stealth Games so i cant tell if im right with all the falws i counted.
гуд игра, в коопе с друзьями(если есть), очень годно можно побегать поорать!
its a flawed game that's pretty fun
I have played it on launch with xbox game pass, and at launch it was really bad with almost no content. Its now better and i especially like the return of PD2 skill system but i would add more interesting perks. Graphics its so good i forgot is UE4 not UE5 yet, content now with first year edition for 17€ is enough for me but this game needs more just like PD2 launch i would say. Also bring back swearing your voiceactors almost dont swear wich wasnt the case in PD2 and PD1. in my opinion PD3 will be better than PD2 once they add all the content it lacks wich they are for sure working on.
Det är mycket dåligt.
