About
Establish the greatest regime in history in this darkly satirical colony sim and FPS roguelite hybrid. Build a prosperous totalitarian state, enforce policies, and lead your troops into first-person battles that grow from desperate skirmishes into large-scale mechanized war.
Dictate wisely. Every choice shapes society, for better or worse.
Mold your citizens through fear, propaganda, surveillance, punishment or rule as a benevolent leader through comfort and prosperity.
While they work for the State, they may grow grateful, afraid, loyal, or quietly rebellious, until dissent becomes revolt.
Venture into the fractured territories of the Tyris System to gather resources, conscript new citizens, trade with wandering merchants, and feed the growth of your colony.
Fight beside your troops in roguelite FPS battles, from hostile ships to large-scale mechanized battlefields of infantry, tanks, and mechs, spreading your doctrine and eliminating threats to humanity.
Weakened foes can be captured and dragged back to your base.
Behind prison doors, resistance can be crushed through fear, indoctrination, execution, or conversion, until an enemy becomes a citizen, a warning to would-be rebels, or another tool of the regime.
Elite enemies, bosses, and Sector Overlords flood the battlefield with bullets, lasers, missiles, drones, artillery, and overlapping projectile patterns.
This is war at scale, but you are not alone. Order your troops to secure victory, or use them as expendable shields to achieve your ends.

Turn a handful of survivors into a vast, tightly run, self-sustaining colony.
Assign citizens to mine, gather, haul, research, and manufacture weapons, armor, food, and supplies. Watch fragile shelters become the machinery of the State.
Collect roguelite cores during each expedition to grow stronger, survive longer, and push deeper into enemy territory.
Weapon Cores reshape how your guns handle. Combination Cores create synergies between different core sets. Others strengthen the troops fighting beside you, or turn them into sacrificial shields for your survival.
Each run becomes a shifting war machine built around you, your squad, and the chaos you unleash together.

Pax Autocratica is a totalitarian colony sim and FPS roguelite hybrid that combines base building, citizen management, and first-person chaotic battlefields filled with infantry, vehicles and bullet hell. It offers a dynamic, accessible, and approachable gameplay experience for all in a sci-fi dystopian world.
It’s a game about power. How it’s built, how it corrupts, and how it consumes.
You will command armies, dictate laws, and witness consequences in every face that salutes you or fears you.

It's a bad hoard shooter with another bad colony sim attached. 24 Hours of playing because I wanted to get my money's worth after 2 hours. In case you were wondering, it's not worth playing more to progress the colony sim. What you play within the first 1 hour is what you play in the next 50 hours. Autoslopica

At this current stage, Im going to go with thumbs down. I slightly regret getting it. It feels like every feature is half assed, and I know its early access, but there's room for more everywhere and it simply didn't happen. Bosses are just the same enemies as normal but scaled up, the ai is really atrocious, the prison to recruitment system is just spam two buttons every day until they join you, the constant voice lines and writing make me wish I didn't have ears, the maps are the same few maps over and over, the first major boss thing that isn't a scaled up enemy is a 'base walker' where you shoot its legs, but it doesn't walk, it just sits there. The whole game feels like the devs just stopped at 'good enough.' After two and a half hours, I felt like I've already ran out of maps, and with no randomization on the maps its the same enemies spawning in the same spots at the same time. The whole thing is repetitive, clunky, and feels unpolished and unfinished. But hey, its early access, it *should* be unfinished. I just don't think its 25 bucks of unfinished yet. The whole thing feels like several half baked gimmicks strapped together with duct tape.
Crack update when?
don't let the video on the store trick you, you don't have an army, let a lone enough guys to fill up a station wagon. *sigh.
Ugh. First, I have far more hours in this game than it appears because I played several versions of the demo. Honestly, I wish they had released the game eight months ago. Back then, it felt more polished, focused, and coherent. Now, it just feels like a disjointed bullet hell. If that’s your preferred play style, maybe this game is for you—but even then, I don’t think it executes that style particularly well. During an expedition, you can basically keep your trigger held down, wave your gun vaguely in the direction of the enemy, and you’ll probably be fine. There’s very little sense of precision or strategy. And what is up with the resource-collection mini-game? It is SO lame. It feels like the kind of fishing mechanic you’d find in a game called "Cozy Town" marketed to 12-year-old girls. The cartoon-style NPC portraits are another huge immersion breaker. Why not simply use photos of the actual armored NPC models? It would fit the world so much better. And then there’s the roadmap showing soldier/player sexual relationships. WTF!? At this rate, I’m guessing the full release is going to be called "Love Island: The Video Game". Just… no.
A flipped version of a Crypto/Blockchain Slop Sci-FI MMO where the devs have attempted to erase the previous version of the game "Earth From Another Sun" from being easily discoverable and linked backed to Pax. They banned discussion of crypto and NFT in their discord. The original game generated 5.5 Million dollars from backers and investors yet THIS is the game that people have been given. They use generative AI in their creation process. The worst part is that the game isn't even good.
