About
Establish the greatest regime in history in this darkly satirical colony sim and FPS roguelite hybrid. Build a prosperous totalitarian state, enforce policies, and lead your troops into first-person battles that grow from desperate skirmishes into large-scale mechanized war.
Dictate wisely. Every choice shapes society, for better or worse.
Mold your citizens through fear, propaganda, surveillance, punishment or rule as a benevolent leader through comfort and prosperity.
While they work for the State, they may grow grateful, afraid, loyal, or quietly rebellious, until dissent becomes revolt.
Venture into the fractured territories of the Tyris System to gather resources, conscript new citizens, trade with wandering merchants, and feed the growth of your colony.
Fight beside your troops in roguelite FPS battles, from hostile ships to large-scale mechanized battlefields of infantry, tanks, and mechs, spreading your doctrine and eliminating threats to humanity.
Weakened foes can be captured and dragged back to your base.
Behind prison doors, resistance can be crushed through fear, indoctrination, execution, or conversion, until an enemy becomes a citizen, a warning to would-be rebels, or another tool of the regime.
Elite enemies, bosses, and Sector Overlords flood the battlefield with bullets, lasers, missiles, drones, artillery, and overlapping projectile patterns.
This is war at scale, but you are not alone. Order your troops to secure victory, or use them as expendable shields to achieve your ends.

Turn a handful of survivors into a vast, tightly run, self-sustaining colony.
Assign citizens to mine, gather, haul, research, and manufacture weapons, armor, food, and supplies. Watch fragile shelters become the machinery of the State.
Collect roguelite cores during each expedition to grow stronger, survive longer, and push deeper into enemy territory.
Weapon Cores reshape how your guns handle. Combination Cores create synergies between different core sets. Others strengthen the troops fighting beside you, or turn them into sacrificial shields for your survival.
Each run becomes a shifting war machine built around you, your squad, and the chaos you unleash together.

Pax Autocratica is a totalitarian colony sim and FPS roguelite hybrid that combines base building, citizen management, and first-person chaotic battlefields filled with infantry, vehicles and bullet hell. It offers a dynamic, accessible, and approachable gameplay experience for all in a sci-fi dystopian world.
It’s a game about power. How it’s built, how it corrupts, and how it consumes.
You will command armies, dictate laws, and witness consequences in every face that salutes you or fears you.

Reviews
Feels like a mixed jumble off stock assets that never really mix together. The gameplay is fine but repetitive and boring with very little variation. Not worth the price and I'd still be hesitant on sale.
Generative AI images everywhere. Not disclosed on the store page.

总体来说还算不错的游戏,缝合的很到位,好久没有一款游戏能吸引到我了,适合一个人慢慢玩儿,不过寿命系统确实需要吐槽以下,能力超强的妹子,寿命太短了。
Interesting and fun concept. The gunplay feels nice. My biggest problem is the game looks (and sometimes feels) like it is made almost entirely out of a premade asset pack and some of the art doesn't match the overall style of the game. I'm not sure if AI was used, but some of the art does look AI generated, like the icons and some character portraits.
Honestly AI is everywhere in the game's "Art" and makes it look like an eyesore. Also the artstyle is not consistent and makes the game look like an assetflip. The combat and base building is also very unpolished and boring. Not mentionning that each "fight" barely lasts a minute. Also the game doesn't feel like the authoritarian regime management that was advertized as dialogues are childish and the artstyle looks like cyberpunk ♥♥♥♥. Not mentionning that nowhere in the store page is AI generated imagery disclosed and the more you play the game, the more you realize not a single image is not AI generated. Also the models look cheap to and as they are not consistent i suspect the entirety of the game's "Art" is AI generated. And again, nowhere is this mentionned in their store page. Honestly I suspect the devs are going to try tu pull a fast one on us in the future especially as I read the game constantly rebrands and also tried linking itself to nfts in the past for promotion.
Got this game on sale to try out since I was interested with the premise. It's an ambitious game, and the gameplay loop is very simple: build your colony, go into space and fight battles to "recruit" more for the cause, head back and unlock the next tutorial, rinse and repeat. Bur I do think it'll do well with some refinement (being able to pave over the planet's surface at your base should be top priority in a dystopian sci-fi, because nature holds no candle to progress!). But when I went to download the game, I got hit with a EULA that said that you weren't buying the game, you were buying a license that they can take away from you at any time. I commend Multiverse for being upfront about this, but as someone who subscribes to Gabe's "piracy is a service issue" philosophy who's not impressed with Sony's recent shenanigans, I refuse to support such a policy.
游戏里关了dlss还是隔三差五闪退,还卡在第一章,实在是玩不下去了。过段时间再看看是否还闪退,就先不退款了。
There is a lot going on, but it doesn't really come together. The base building has no threat or raids. The game shows massive battles but you can't really wage war. It's like very basic ai and you can only have a few to start with. Even when you get late game you can only have like 30ish soldiers which pretty much just follow. There are no tactics nor strategy effectively just run and gun. You can't skip the tutorial, but you can change the difficulty anytime. The gameplay is samey. I was expecting a little more rimworld esque base minions but they're not interesting at all. The weapons are all the same aswell. Generally feels very early access. I backed Earth From Another Sun and refunded it. I would wait on this one. There are entire chunks of the game that are unappealing like not being able to have your mininons use vehicles. or have any variation of combat like defense or scouting. I've had to mod alot of my own fun stuff to do. I can only recommend if you're out of like games and or want to support the dev. I think 5 dollars is reasonable for this at the moment, but you may get 50 hours out of it if its your cup of tea.
Game contains AI generated artwork.
NFT-era game that was repackaged into this. Trailer shows stuff that isn't in the game. It's a mish-mosh of genres. Maybe will be abandoned at some future point since it just has that vibe. The bones aren't great, and don't get me started on the lighting. The original game name was: Earth From Another Sun - The project was envisioned as a massive, open-world galactic MMO sandbox that heavily incorporated web3/NFT mechanics. In Dev for about 7 years, and still is in this state.
