Taxi Life: A City Driving Simulator

This game overall is good but it has many bugs. A major one is cars just randomly stopping in the middle of road and won't keep going, it's caused me so much trouble and ruins the fun of the game

Is your favorite thing in the world to stand in a car queue in rush hour with other cars that dont know how to drive? And constantly wait for a green light so even more queues? And being shouted at from your customer in the backseat? Then this is the game for you. Totally hopeless in every way. Even the wheel support is terrible.

Just casual taxi drive is the only thing I enjoy in this slop, yep that's it. No one cares about the optimisation of the game itself, I turned on ultra graphics, yet it looks like something from early 2010s, and the FPS is as low as 29 FPS on a 4060, i9-13900H laptop. Traffic AI is another thing I suffered too much, those AI crashing, not following traffic signs are just a piece of iceberg, they literally stand still forever in front of some pedestrian crossings, and I have to reset the traffic. I can understand why they are freezing, because pedestrian also stand still in the middle of the crossing, when I get annoyed and wanna get around them, they rammed into me as expected. Bang another hundred euro went to the cops. The worse thing is, they have no plan to fix these bugs, just rolling out more DLC to rob us. If u are planning to buy, I think u shd pull the plug ASAP.

[h1]Frustrating NPC Traffic AI[/h1] The game has a lot of potential, but the NPC traffic AI is incredibly frustrating. Very often, AI drivers will just stop at an intersection and refuse to move even when the traffic light turns green. It causes massive gridlock, blocks the entire lane, and completely ruins the driving experience because you get stuck with nowhere to go. Hopefully, the developers fix this soon.

The traffic drive like they were never programmed to drive in city driving game. But i do think the game is decent it has alot of redeeming features. (But i do recommend to get it when its on sale)

I vote yes BUT I do wish there was an American version of this game. The road layouts in Europe are nonsense.

玩了150小时了，作为给制作组的鼓励给个好评，实际上心里还是得给个差评的。 游戏框架非常好，基本实现了我心目中出租车游戏该有的模样，城市道路、突发状况、乘客互动、业务发展几大要素都齐了。 但是！！！我要说说缺点了！ 虽然这游戏大小毛病非常多，但我觉得最最迫切需要改进的，就两点： 1. AI。我是夏促才刚入坑的，估计更新过了，我没有遇到过被追尾的情况，但是路人AI简直不能忍，他们随心所欲的过马路，而且过完马路扭个头又走一次，还会出现两个人卡在路中间鬼畜的现象。车辆AI也不太行，主要体现在斑马线上，只要判定有人要过马路，即使人还在远处，车就不走！在狭窄的不能加塞的小路里遇到这种情况进退两难！有时候路上的车祸事件也是，左边有一条小道可以走，但只要前面有一点点障碍物，例如摩托车和垃圾桶，所有的车就不走了，堵一大片在那里，是真的会玩到路怒症爆炸！ 2.驾驶手感。我用的是罗技G27，力反馈时有时无，有时候很松有时候超级紧，有时候盘子转向会发出非常令人担心的噪音，这在我玩ETS2、city car driving里面是没有的现象。手动档的离合器感觉特别奇怪，1档只要抬起一丢丢离合器，车子就跟踩了油门一样突然加速。换挡的时候就像点了刹车一样一顿一顿的，而且这车是一点都不会滑行是吧，我开到速度很高，只要松开油门，速度就会迅速降下来，除非我踩住离合器，才有相对正常的滑行。 除了以上两点，还有一些需要改进的地方 1.准星，为什么一个驾驶模拟游戏要准星！！！而且我找不到地方关掉它！ 2.希望加入座椅调节或者视野调节，否则，例如初始车那样，半个屏幕都看着车顶 3.希望加入后视镜调节 4.方向盘适配再方便一些，我连上我的G27之后，默认设置根本没法用，我还是得手动设置。而且希望在此基础上加一些细节调整，例如死区，避免离合器抬起一点点车就飞出去的现象。 很少码测评，希望开发商能看见，我真的觉得框架特别好，改进之后我会非常愿意推荐给身边朋友。愿早日突破技术难关！
