Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Jul 23 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

After more than 200 hours playing both games, and being brand new to both, but a gamer for over 30 years, I can unequivocally say that Panzer Corps 2, IMHO, is totally inferior as a game to Panzer Corps 1. The game play is laborious, the lengths gone to to make the game "challenging", and the rules system have made PzC2 a game that is just not fun to play. And no, I'm not looking to get a debate going. Just dropping this review so other folks can decide for themselves.
If there was an option for "neutral", I'd probably tick that box. I think what disappoints me with this game is the feeling that it could easily have been better - there are some nice touches like the supply and some of the options but I think some of my gripes are: - optimisation - I think I've seen some other comments about how this runs way slower than what you would expect for a turn-based strategy game - the AI - is not good at all in my view and sometimes just does incredibly stupid things - like in a scenario where the AI literally just has to defend, and it uses a decent tank to attack an infantry in a city?? it isn't even really capable of mounting a proper defence - I'm not sure I see the AI as any better than the original Panzer/Allied generals and that was a long time ago. As a result I think the single player is really just about how many advantages you have to give the AI for it to be competitive, given that it is actually quite poor at playing the game. - some of the gameplay mechanics I just don't think work well in practice e.g. it's interesting to be able to use captured equipment but inevitably you then just can't replace it so I'm not sure what the point is in paying to upgrade to captured equipment if after a very short period of time the unit will have to be changed back to equipment you can actually replace. - the DLC. I'm simply not ever going to pay these kinda prices, particularly not for a game which feels like they could have tried a bit harder to get just right. Just to give a clear example of why I thought the AI was really poor - I was playing the main campaign and had selected no core air force option - this was broadly fine until I got to Sea Lion at which point I realised that this mission was really really impossible without a decent air force (see the bit above about gameplay mechanics which seem like a good idea but have some flaw in them). Basically to me it looked hopeless cos without an air force I couldn't get even close to taking on the British navy and trying to invade across the Channel with the British dominating the sea and air....yeah that should be hopeless. But basically after some attempts and spamming some save games I managed to sneak some units across cos the British navy wasn't doing a good job of actually blocking me off and then the British navy just kinda ignored my invasion and mostly carried on beating up my units in North France rather than simply returning to the British coast and bombarding my invasion into submission, and I managed to grab the objectives along the south coast of England. I was relieved to finish the mission so I could continue with the campaign with my by now pretty battered core army but I was just left looking at it thinking how on earth did I win - without a decent German air force the British navy was absolutely dominant and even a pretty poor AI in my view should have been able to hold me off pretty easily. I think it kinda killed my enjoyment cos I just felt like, what is the point in playing against the AI when the AI is quite this bad. I guess my overall feeling is that it's an OK game but they really could have put more effort into some specific areas - I think in particular the fact that the AI is not very good just made me really "meh" about the idea of playing any more single player cos I'm just really not sure it's an interesting challenge.

Bought the game only to discover i only owned a skeleton of a game. This is even worse the Paradox' approach to milking the customers. At least they are being honest abouth being slithering. Skeletons are dead to me. Getting effed by skeleton puppetmaster is out of the question RIP money, RIP game, goodbye studio.
My Thoughts:
Panzer Corps 2 is a turn-based, hex-based, strategic wargame set during World War 2. This is my favorite in the genre.
What I Like:
[*]Presentation Best presentation in the genre. Clear tooltips, easy to understand interface. A visual pleasure to look at. [*]Graphics The best in the genre right now. [*]Unit Roster The most units out of any hex game I've played. [*]Content Plenty of stuff to keep you busy. There are campaigns, one off missions, multiplayer against humans and AI and a couple of one off co-op missions.

What I Dislike:
[*]CO-OP I would have loved to see a campaign co-op mode. Campaign is only single player. [*]Theatre of War No Pacific Theatre. There was a DLC in development but it was announced on live stream that it has been shelved indefinitely. [*]ZOC and Supply Zone of control and Supply mechanics are both in this game but you would never know because there is no visual representation of them. I would like the tile to be marked with an icon which is what other games in the genre do. [*]Order of Battle - Review Has a ton of different theatres including the Pacific, but poor graphics and UI. I play this game a lot but find the panzer general series and panzercorp 1 much better.
Same gameplay as free to play mobile games, just looks nicer. I've asked for a refund.
Want a rainbow pride flag on your WW2 German tank? Panzer Corps 2 has got you covered.
TLDR an excellent turn based WWII game ,better than its already great predecessor Panzer Corps Gold. Panzer Corps Gold is my most played game in Steam with some 360 hours so I bought this as well plus all DLC (minus the General Edition. Have not bought Fall of Poland yet either). It's a considerable improvement over its predecessor. I was skeptical at first about the 3d graphics but I changed my mind : they are very nicely done and they improve the immersion. There are two drawbacks though : a) you could play Panzer Corps Gold in a potato PC but for this one you ll need a more modern GPU b) because of the 3d perspective, at times, it is a tad harder to distinguish what you are looking at. For instance, an air unit may partially cover a ground unit behind it and you need to pan/zoom the view a bit to see things better More importantly there are new and improved mechanics and quality of life improvements such as : - optional buffs/debuffs selection for your general - richer customisation of gameplay and difficulty level - nice briefing per scenario - commendation points - unit awards - improved AI that feels more alive and dynamic ( in previous game AI was largely static, sitting and waiting for you) - mechanics such as : encirclement, overrun, high ground, forced march, recon units buff attacks of adjacent friendly units, recon planes, anti aircraft guns now support not just adjacent units but everything within their attack radius, anti tank units provide support to adjacent units against hard attacks, phased recon unit movement, special artillery with counter artillery support, engineers buff entrenchment build speed of adjacent units, mass attacks, two types of airfields plus option to relocate aircraft, split units, exchange units. Another major change is that now, in each scenario, you have a given amount of unit slots, say, 50 slots. Now, a not so good tank may require 2 of these slots. A better one might require 3 or 4. So you get to choose, you can have more but not so good units or fewer but better ones. Which I think gives one more option to customise your play and improves replayabilty. Having completed the first DLC Spanish Civil War I can now provide some more input : - scenarios, overall, last longer. Turn limit is typically around 20 turns (if u dislike turn limit however it can be switched off). Last scenario of that campaign had a massive 36 turns limit. It felt epic but also dragged a tad longer than I should like to be frank, alas, not much spare time for gaming anymore - AI feels better than its predecessor: it is very active and alive on the battlefield and it makes less mistakes. Bombers will almost always be supported by fighters. Air units will try to avoid your anti-air umbrella if they can help it. Recon units will use their phased movement to slip through gaps of your front line and hit vulnerable units. Artillery and AA guns will reposition to attack your units. They will think twice before attacking your units if they are supported by artillery or anti-tank guns. That said, AI remains far from perfect: - infantry will sometimes attack tanks in open space - tanks will sometimes attack infantry having close defence - units may move and remain on vulnerable positions - units near death, instead of retreating & repairing, will sometimes go ahead and perform doomed suicidal attacks - units will move within encircled space getting encircled themselves - infantry will abandon the safety of close defence and/or entrenchment to attack some badly wounded enemy but, in doing so , expose themselves to painful counter attacks - AI units seem to behave each on their own. They don't seem to be aware that they have their buddies around them. (Fighters which will support their bombers are excluded from this). AI also seems to only consider the circumstances of current turn only. Does not "look ahead" at what might happen in the next turn
AI 100% suicide in 1939 Czechoslovakia Did the designer play the game himself? What kind of stupid design is this!!!!
好玩,但我想要和“轴心国行动”一样“又臭又长”的“同盟国行动”。甚至可以试试同盟国行动架空线登陆日本本土。 Good game, but I still want the "Allied Operations Series" campaign to be as long as the "Axis Operations" series.Maybe even try an Allied aerial line “Operation Downfall”
