Cat Goes Fishing

As my first computer game this is a long overdue review a I have had it for as long as I had my account. This game is great and it provides both a beautiful experience to those new to gaming and those who would love to 100% a game. I think this game is perfect in every way, But yes, I am very biased.

This game can be fun, but it is poorly optimized. Two years ago, it received an update that unlocked 60 FPS (previously capped at 30 FPS), along with some new fish and minor adjustments, but there has been nothing new since then. The game completely lacks a settings menu, meaning there are no audio settings and no fullscreen options. If you are buying this game because you watched videos of it and thought it looked nice, you might still enjoy it. It is decent, but the lack of a settings menu is a major downside. As a heads-up: you can use ALT + ENTER for fullscreen, and press M to mute the music. If you want to disable all game sounds completely, you will have to use your PC's volume mixer. Is it worth €7? For me, no. That is why I am refunding it after an hour of gameplay. I watched a lot of videos and really wanted to like it, but the game just doesn't feel good to play, at least for me. Keep in mind that you can try it for up to 2 hours after buying it. If you don't like it, you can just request a refund through Steam. Hope this helps someone! This vile game has tormented me enough. the game has done nothing but create rage i have never felt before, i know that the developer intended for the game to spark the deepest rage beneath a persons outer shell.
