A sweet and simple platformer!
A good basis for a strong title. Gameplay is simple but not boring. Level design felt a bit too simple at first, but final section had interesting mechanics. Could use two more levels but overall it's alright. Would like to see a potential sequel/expansion considering: - better narrative with better presentation, the story about the city would be better shown, even if with storyboards, than written; - more of and longer levels with more engaging mechanics (doors, switches) and secrets (collectibles, encounters); - minimap showing areas you've already explored (could be hidden from general gameplay) - owl customization; - some better solution for movement controls, it's quite tricky with mouse. Mostly I just wish it was longer than 15 minutes.
Wholesome game. Great for kids and casuals. Achievement completion in 15 minutes.
Well, that was fast. But it was definitely beautiful. You should consider creating an action game in that universe with that art style, really well done.
for that price it was a nice experience:) I believe developers could take it a lot further in the future and create a truly unique game
Best speed game for beginners! Also literally $2 for a pretty stellar 20 minutes of gameplay that is fun and redoable? Take my money!
The aesthetic is nice, the style is cute, the music sets the mood quite well, the controls are a bit weird but i got the hang of it fast (probably would feel better on a controller) but it feels more like a demo than like a full game. It left me with a "wait, that's over?" feel at the end, after 10 mins of gameplay Good concept, but deserved a bit more of everything, i guess
It's fun and inventive. I just wish it was longer. It's really short. I feel like the concept could have stayed interesting a lot longer. Still it's better to have something short and great than something that overstays its welcome.
Short and sweet, I enjoyed it. Simple but fun little platformer with pretty environments
"Owl Watch" is a VERY short (around 10-20 min) platforming adventure about an owl warden that needs to reactivate artifacts against an encroaching darkness. "Platformer" may be not quite correct: You dash instead of jump through the top-down levels. The atmosphere is nice and the handdrawn cutscenes are charming and while it is nothing groundbreaking, it may be worth a buck and a half for a quick experience (And it is maybe a good game for speedrunning due to it's length).
