I LOVE THE FLIGHT SYSTEM IN THIS ONE. I just shouted out of joy, when I first time flew into the air and the freaking feeling was so awesome I am still hyped! The game is pretty great else too. Have fun!
Recomendo.
I'm a bit mixed if I want to recommend this or not. It's a decently nice game even if it's a short experience. It's nice to be able to fly freely, however the game could have used more time in the oven. It lacks the emotional aspect that just makes the ending feel very flat and unsatisfying.
AER Memories of Old - просто игра про медитативное путешествие.
If I had to sum up this game in a few words I'd say: Adventure of Link meets lithoid lover's mythology world. The part where the game lets you wander the world to figure things out on your own with very little instructions is both the best and worst part of the game. Fun? Yes. Annoying? Possibly... Confusing? Absolutely! Let's start with the negatives: There are many small moments where you either missed a small detail that was very easy to overlook or forgot to talk to one of the characters who had a dialogue to tell you something important -which is also very easy to miss. Instructions from in-game events and character dialogue are a bit unclear at times and VERY easy to miss if you aren't paying attention. The game expects you to go back and talk to characters when you need more directions, but it also kind of just says "you'll figure it out" most of the time. Probably partially a skill issue, but the game is confusing and obtuse at times because of this. There's also this one achievement that you can miss, and you have to restart the entire game from the beginning again if you miss it, so if you're a completionist beware of that. With the negatives out of the way, let's talk about the positives: It's fun to explore the hand-crafted world of this game. There's a lot of little things to discover here and there as you traverse the archipelagoes of the world. The lore is also interesting. If you like Zelda you will probably like it too. It reminds me of Breath of the Wild's environmental storytelling. The lore isn't important to the game for the most part, so don't worry about missing it. Did I mention that the world is governed by sentient rocks?! Then there's the puzzles... As a puzzle game enjoyer, I will say they're mid. Not much to say without any spoilers. Don't love it, don't hate it. Pretty simple. Overall, I think AER is a fun game about discovering the world as a shapeshifting bird. It's a bit obtuse at times because of the very easy to miss guidance (of which there is little), but that is also what makes the game fun. It's about exploring the world and discovering it for yourself. Would recommend, 4/5 stars.
I say I'd recommend this, but thats with a grain of salt, the price point is worth it, but not because its a good game. atmosphere - Fantastic, the soundtrack, ambience, and the world is beautiful. story - couldn't tell you, I genuinely couldn't finish it because I did not enjoy progressing. gameplay - this one is tough because the game has one big problem. The strongest part of this game is the whole "shapeshift into a bird and fly to traverse the game world". the fact that the only time you really do this is when traveling to the next area, only for the next objective to not involve using this ability at all whatsoever for the puzzles. the strongest part of the gameplay is never actually used in any meaningful part of the game. All of my playtime comes from screwing around the open world doin goofy flying shenanigans, and you want me to go into areas where i can't transform into a bird to do puzzles that you could find in literally any game ever? yea I'll pass all in all, worth it for the screwing around flying, disappointing that doing that feels unimportant in the game.
Pure flying fantasy as the core mechanic keeps the game’s relaxing concept perfectly grounded. All of it is complemented by a beautiful visual style and a great soundtrack. Ideal pick for spending cozy, 3 hour evening under a warm blanket with controller in your hands.
Relaxing and very cozy
not the most authentic story, but it's nice to play
