Overgrown: Genesis

Это на удивление интересная история со множеством финалов, где от решений игрока зависит, без преувеличения, слишком многое. В большинстве проектов эротического толка мотивация главных героев либо отсутствует, либо притянута за уши. Overgrown: Genesis - приятное исключение. Джуно руководствуется внутренними убеждениями, постоянно сверяя свои поступки с прежней, человеческой моралью. Одним из самых душераздирающих моментов для меня стала небольшая сцена с Кэрри, девушкой в одинокой хижине — история, увы, показательная даже для нашего времени. Стоит признать, что не каждый второстепенный персонаж проработан столь же глубоко, но любопытные эпизоды с их участием встречаются на протяжении всей игры. Цена секса здесь максимально высока. Возможность подтолкнуть Джуно к этому шагу возникает часто, но каждое такое решение оставляет на жизни и теле девушки неизгладимый след. Впрочем, визуальная часть безупречна: картинки самих сцен в игре великолепны, они радуют разнообразием видов и запоминающихся сцен (в том числе и с вышеупомянутой бедняжкой Кэрри), хотя кому-то, возможно, будет недоставать полноценной анимации. Настоятельно рекомендую. Сюжет, персонажи и арт стоят каждой потраченной вами монеты. Из минусов отмечу разве что несколько затянутую финальную главу, которая перенасыщена событиями уступающим предыдущим.

As a game its...eh. The premise of it is kinda interesting. But the gameplay is...not good let's leave it at that. You barely get any ammo. Sneaking around takes forever. using the in-game cheat menu makes it too easy. The h-scenes are barely worth being called that. Just jpgs with text over it. You could find and play better games on newgrounds for free tbh. Its barely worth $5 on sale, and it's DEFINITELY not worth $15 regular price.

Приятная, в меру хардкорная игра с правдоподобной атмосферой. По факту серьёзных минусов у игры нет и её можно покупать не дожидаясь скидок, но я рекомендую тратить свои деньги с умом. Игра уже зрелая и продаётся регулярно на очень больших скидках. Дождитесь их и закупайте игру в коллекцию. Она наверняка отобьётся по соотношению цена - эмоции. - Геймплейно перед нами бродилка, а точнее "Adventure" на движке RPGMaker. - Сюжет и персонажи выполнены на хорошем уровне. Были конечно персонажи которые вели себя неадекватно в сложившихся обстоятельствах, но в целом ничего критично плохого. - У игры хорошая, грамотно поданная мрачная атмосфера. - На прохождение игры на все концовки у меня ушло примерно 10 часов. - В игре можно найти 45 сцен 18+. Сцены выполнены в виде череды статических картинок примерно. Оргазмы в сценах визуализированы. - В игре система карточек с задними фонами. ЗАЯВЛЕНО что также есть система облачных сохранений но на момент написания обзора она не работает. Я не спешил проходить игру так как припоминал что когда игра была в очень раннем доступе (я даже припоминаю что в ранних версиях у героини был дизайн сильно напоминающий Джил Валентайн), то меня прям резануло что в игре нам не встретился ни один разумный ну или хотя бы позитивный мужской НПС. Все мужики были сплошь карикатурными злодеями и хоть малую толику сочувствия протагонистка могла обрести исключительно в женском обществе.... Не особо привлекательный для меня концепт. Сейчас же пройдя игру меня порадовала что разработчики прислушались к сообществу и добавили парочку нормальных мужских НПС из-за чего в игру стало играть куда приятнее. А также в целом причесали мотивацию персонажей выведя происходящие из категории утрированного абсурда в мрачную историю с парочкой перегибов.

keyboard mapping and control set up is badly needed; as it is a good game; with for me clunky, odd and unchangeable controls. Very sad because I like the parts I have gotten done.

Fun enough story, pretty pictures. Too many enemies early on compared to the game's style and control. I am fine with a game feeling clunky and simple in its design, but then there should not be swarms of them... sometimes enemies can spot you through walls, sometimes you can run straight past them almost bumping into them without them noticing you. Does not feel fun or great. :/ There is a basis for a good experience, but it is ruined by an immersion breaking huge number of enemies making survival ridiculous.

Я ещё не прошёл эту игру, но близок к финалу. Пишу обзор из-за того, что автор смог меня порадовать во всех смыслах. Это и блестящая игра, и шикарный хентай. Купил игру на крайней распродаже, ценник был копеечным. Сейчас я буду нахваливать эту игру, но и поругать придётся. Ну, здесь неплохой для подобных игр сюжет. Есть в нём и серьёзность, и драма. Главная героиня кажется живым человеком, что заставляет проникнуться и сопереживать ей. Сюжет разделён на главы, в каждой из которых есть сюжетные и дополнительные квесты. В последних особой ценности нет, польза выражается лишь в найденных припасах. В игре есть штраф за плохую игру в виде 18+ сценок, скажу немного про них. Да, они шикарные. Рисовка достойная, партнёров много и фетишей тоже. Если вам нравятся зомби, живые растения, мутанты и даже собаки, то рекомендую продукт уже на данном этапе. В игре ещё есть стрельба, но она базовая. Музыка в игре скучная, но не отвратительная, при прохождении слух не режет. Что касается минусов, то могу выделить лишь отсутствие нормальной локализации на русский язык и кривую возможность делать скриншоты, из-за которой приходится ставить специальные команды в параметры запуска игры. Ещё игре не помешало бы более высокое разрешение упомянутых выше 18+ сценок. Я знаю, что после этой игры автор сделал ещё одну, более крутую. На неё я тоже напишу обзор, но лишь после ознакомления. А так рекомендую игрушку даже тем, кто не увлекается хентаем и хорошо знает английский язык. Спасибо за внимание, всего доброго!

A cheap version of Resident Evil. A few good but not all sex scenes don't save the situation from a poorly made game. They could at least put in a little effort and add animation. The story isn't bad, but at times the side stories are quite depressing for a porn game. You are in a post-apocalyptic world, probably a little over a year old, and there is almost nothing to find, either too little or useless. And at the same time there is everything necessary, water, food, and yet people are dying of hunger and thirst. At least to look more apocalyptic, it looks like it was a few days ago. The game does nothing to show you who you should talk to. The weapons are poorly designed, one blow with the knife and it's no longer useful, you can push the enemy away but only after 30 seconds again. And too few resources. If your goal is to kill everything, you should often use the codes for ammo because they are used like candy. The choices in the game really change it, which is the only plus. The game gives you a choice: either fight, but you have almost nothing, or run away, given that everything is in tight spaces or there are many enemies and they can always sense you even through walls. Even the mechanics are poorly designed, you have blood that is for sleeping, sleeping is for morale, and if it drops to zero, you die, and I haven't seen anything that improves you yet, the enemies take it all from you the third time, and the weakest ones at that. You can't even adjust your buttons. The game says you can play with a mouse, but it's almost useless. You can't even load a save while playing unless you're in the menu. You can't even enlarge the screen to full. This is a game made in 2020, Pacman probably has more features than this. Even the cards look like unfinished drawings. Really lazy. The game has cheats which is a plus but it is also a minus because you can use them right away which shows how little work they put into the game. This game is one of those copy-and-paste styles where more is put into the story or scenes and less into the rest of the game. One of the lazy style games. Maybe with a discount the game doesn't show anything that it's worth the full price. Besides, there are plenty of games like that on Steam. And they haven't put much effort into most of them either.

If that’s all good for you then you’re on for a treat, if any of those aren’t your thing then be warned they are all pretty prevalent. 7.5/10 Did not expect to enjoy this as much as I did. I have seen others praising the story and rightfully so. Make no mistake, this isn’t a masterpiece. It’s influences are pretty clear (The Last of Us especially) but it had good characters and is engaging enough, especially for a porn game. So much so that I ran through the whole thing in one sitting and couldn’t put it down. The multiple endings help with that, with a good variety and some real dark options as well. The combat can be fun, engaging, tense, and challenging. though that challenge can largely be attributed to its clunkiness. Full disclaimer, I had to resort to using the cheat menu to get through the game. The stealth can be hit or miss because sometimes you can pass right behind or even beside an enemy and they won’t notice you. Other times they will see you through solid walls that you can’t even get through yourself! By the middle of act 2 I found myself with more food than I ever would have needed but pretty much no ammo and very few melee weapons which all only have 1/2/3 uses. That’s when I had to resort to cheats. Now for the fun bits! The art style is very good indeed, with some very hot and good looking scenes. The gallery is also a highlight, not only showing the enemy encounters you had but the ones you missed as well, meaning you don’t need to purposely fail in order to see everything. The final boss is voiced as well which is a good final treat. SA is very much the biggest kink on display here, and it’s done pretty well. If you do a flawless run you can almost entirely avoid it. There are a few misogynistic individuals but they are entirely framed as evil by the game, while non consensual is all over the place it’s never shown as a morally good thing. Monster Lovers rejoice as there are some real good designs here. Some make more more sense than others lore wise but it’s a porn game, what do you expect? I found myself pleasantly surprised with a few scenes and that’s saying something for someone as kinky as me. In the end I would say Overgrown Genesis is a game well worth the price, and your time. If you like the look of this game, go for it! If you’re unsure then wait for a sale and pick it up cheap and be pleasantly surprised!

Nice idea, interesting approach to the "zombie" theme. Pixel art style is okay, nothing outstanding, nothing too bad. H-Scenes are attrocious.. terrible art, not voiced, not even sound, no animations. just 2-3 badly done images. Gameplay is boring fast... Writing is "okay" to absolutely terrible...
