Not good
The game mechanics are good and the look is pretty but in the state it is now it feels a little incomplete, like there's no option to quit a game in the middle of the campaign you have to shut the game down and hope it saved your progress. The game feels empty, it would have add a lot to the game to have unlockable factions or bosses. When you play a game, even in campaign mode, it gives you nothing more than a score. I know its a port from a boardgame, but i think its a missed opportunity to add some features. Notwithstanding its flaws, its still an overall fun game to play if you get it on sale.
Very addicting puzzle game.
This is a totally faithful adaptation of the tabletop game, and I'm glad to see that the multiplayer launch bugs have been cleaned up! Overboss is a deceptively simple tile-laying game where you draft a terrain tile and monster token from the market every turn. But you're optimizing in three dimensions: gaining set collection bonuses from terrain tiles, positioning bonuses from monster tokens, and making the most of your Boss power synergies. The pixelated graphics and chiptune music are perfectly retro, the animations are delightful, and there's a surprising amount of gameplay thanks to the different game modes and campaign options!

Strata czasu żeby zainstalować i w ogóle spróbować w to zagrać
Had this on my wishlist for awhile as the game always looked fun, but held off purchase at launch due to issues per reviewers at the time. Glad to come around and check it out and see improvements have been made with updates. I can't speak for the previous issues people were having of course, but I have been able to get in and play a couple rounds so far and everything runs smoothly. I wouldn't mind a more detailed scoreboard for breaking down points even further, or at least being able to look at the final boards, but this is a minor gripe that has no effect on gameplay. The music fits the aesthetic and gives charming old school vibes. The pixel art is gorgeous and I wish I could zoom in to see some of those pixely details better lol. The AI definitely seems to play optimally from my few rounds so far as I have not won, but the majority of us are hovering around the same score. I can recommend this for sure and am glad to have another digital board game to mess around with. Hope some others come back to check this out again as I feel like the overall rating would be in the positive range now.
