The tutorial is extremely poor and confusing for an otherwise simple game - going into a solo game vs. a bot after the tutorial I felt like I couldn't follow with the game at all, as everything happens just too fast. As other reviewers have pointed out, the game is also crawling with grammar, punctuation etc. errors. It is pretty bad that I had to resort to looking up the game's rulebook to learn how to play. Root is a far more complex board game and the digital version's tutorial is leagues ahead. Definitely don't buy full price.

A nice, ultra-lean spin on the worker placement genre. I haven't had the chance to play the online yet, but the solo game is pretty challenging so far and goes extremely fast. Each round I've played so far I've pieced together a bit more of a strategy and it has that "can't quite do everything you want on your turn" feel that's the hallmark of a good worker game. My only complaint is the music is very repetitive and while you can turn it off, the game feels a little empty without anything in the backgroud, but otherwise this is a great digital board game. I love that this has cross-platform as well, in my opinion you can't have a digital board game without that.

UPDATED COMMENT AFTER AN HOURS EXTRA PLAY AND A YEAR ON FROM ORIGINALLY PLAYING Still has extremely poor implementation. Continues to be simple language errors all over the place. I found the tutorial not very clear, especially for such a simple game. I have only played the solo mode so far and the displayed AI move is so fast I cant work out what is happening most of the time. It would be nice to play against an opponent who has the same rules as me but solo only allows games against opponents with special abilities. Implementation is much harder to follow than it needs to be. Layout of the screen is also in need of improvement. Couldn't recommend at its full cost before - or now at any cost. Its just poor.

I have just reinstalled this game (Jan 2022) and it appears much has changed since it first came out. The game appears to correctly run and all my previous complaints about no longer seem to be valid. This is not so much a review on whether you will like it more that the initial issues appear to have been resolved. It no longer keeps crashing, perpetually requesting that it needed to be updated as well as access to an external account.

Very very quick and simple game. For a quick game when time is short. The product page does nothing to promote this game. Youtube as always provided a few gameplays to see what this game is about. Once you have figured out the best strategy you can usually win more than lose.

Physical game is great, digital? Not so much. Suffers from the same issues other digital board games do, a game riddled with bugs and issues that could benefit from QoL updates that it will never get because development may or may not have been abandoned at "go". I couldn't get multiplayer to work, I don't know if the servers are down or if it was just me but it seems like I'm not the only one that had issues with it. But hey, single player against a character still works, so that's something?
