I feel like I am in love after finished this game. It is raw, touching, and deeply relatable. Finn is a sweets shop owner, Gray is a truck driver, they live in a remote seaside village with their friends. Life is simple, it’s about eat good food, have good company and travel to interesting places. You don’t need tremendous physical possessions to be happy. It all depends on how you choose to live.

Adorable game. Absolutely recommend this game. There are lots of hidden detail waiting to be discovered, and I really like the living-peacefully-and-stresslessly vibe. So many captures of live are vividly displayed in this peace of art. I am looking forward to seeing more stories of the two main characters, and I also look forward to establishing a relationship with someone I love and spending time with him like Finn and Gray.

Preferences include audio controls, display preferences and language options. I love interactive games, it satisfies the need to obsessively click the screen everywhere, like the digital equivalent of bubble wrap! So click away to your heart's content to find the hidden goodies & stickers. There is no rush or time limits in this game. Browse each scene at your own pace while you interact. You can go back and forth, just like the pages of a story book, and the hand-drawn, cartoon style is just wonderful. The relationship between Gray and Finn is so loving and little Momo is just too adorable. The humour is on-point, “are you my destiny…try on these underwear”, haha. Omurice Next Time is a wholesome interactive story developed by Griffin Cyan. You follow the journey of Gray and Finn as they experience all kinds of things life has to offer. Whether that be holidays, friends, or most importantly - food! The story is based off of the developer’s personal life too, which I feel just adds to the charm of the entire experience. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3290589058 This game does not overstay its welcome, and is such a delightful point-and-click story to experience. There are 15 short chapters, each about a new experience for the couple - even one about how they met, as well as how they came to own their cat, Momo, or managed to treat themselves to a lovely holiday. As an interactive linear story, there isn’t a ton you need to do in Omurice Next time. You’re mostly flipping pages and progressing through dialogue. Occasionally some sweet little minigames appear, such as making dorayaki, or giving Gray some well deserved massages. Not only does Finn, one half of the couple own his own dorayaki shop, but there are a fair few pages that speak about the food the couple enjoy and are eating. However, the most delightful thing about this is if you click the dishes it’ll give you information on it, from the name to the ingredients. The only negative thing I have to say about the game is that there are some typo errors, mostly in parts of the dialogue which I’m sure could easily be solved with a little bit of proofreading. There are some collectible stamps throughout the game, with one in each chapter. They’re extremely easy to find thanks to the fact that the extras page gives you a very good hint, and chapters can be replayed once unlocked. [b]ദ്ദി◝ ⩊ ◜.ᐟ[/b] I know, I know. I usually read visual novels that are filled with... lets say [i]questionable levels of spice[/i]. But apparently I can melt from wholesomeness too! And boy oh boy do we have an absolutely wholesome gay story right here. This is a story about love and domestic life. Instead of flirting and chasing romance routes, the couple is already together. You get to experience small parts of their life, seeing how much these two guys care about each other. Simple things, like cooking together, talking about the future and enjoying small everyday moments with friends (and curious animals). Its honestly really cute. Its a short, simple and calm experience. Kind of comforting, actually. If that sounds like your thing, youll probably enjoy this one. [b]Steam deck note:[/b] I couldnt get it to run properly on the Steam Deck for some reason. The cursor wouldnt click or drag things (and you'll need to for achievements). You [i]can[/i] read the novel, but, for achievements I'd do anything! Ended up playing on desktop, I know, whats the world coming to? I bought and played this game this evening, and I love it! Some of the directions are vague at times, (like in the [spoiler]Eating Crab[/spoiler] chapter, it took me a while to figure out that I had to [spoiler]double-click the crab on the plate to break the shell[/spoiler] before proceeding), but overall, I found it to be a great story with lots of cute moments. I especially loved the art in the [spoiler]Bathhouse Resort[/spoiler] chapter. Beautiful! I can't wait to experience more chapters and stories with these characters. After playing, I noticed that Steam didn't track my achievements despite completing all the in-game challenges. It's not a big deal, though; I am happy to have been entertained for a few hours.

这个游戏是需要找一个安安静静的时间，慢慢代入体验的非常可爱的游戏。整个游戏的氛围非常唯美，画面以及表达方式叙述方式也非常棒，整体来说就像是在阅读一封作者写的日记，没有轰轰烈烈的事件，只有平平淡淡的生活，就像游戏的标题一样，下次吃蛋包饭吧，但感动往往也存在于平凡琐碎的生活细节之中。游戏本身来说也确实像作者做的一个日记式情书23333，这么有心的一个情书应该很好哭吧哈哈哈~ 流程时间不长，全部玩完大概两-三个小时之间吧，如果喜欢慢节奏的日常的话还是可以入的。

Well-crafted characters and story, combined with hand-drawn art and unique ways to interact, Omurice Next Time is truly a hidden gem and a breath of fresh air. [h3]Small Story, Deeply Meaningful[/h3] Unlike how gay men are presented in mass media, the characters in Omurice Next Time are working-class men. Finn and Gray obviously struggle Financially, Wilbur and Akashi work hard to run their general store. Life wasn't easy, but you know what, put all this aside, all that matters is we have each other. Even in the darkest moments, we can still find strength from friends, family, and loved ones. [b]For ordinary people like you and me, this is our story. And our story deserves to be told.[/b] [h3]The Devil is in the Details[/h3] The way Omurice Next Time presents details is subtle and exquisite. Similar to mom always pack an extra snack in my lunchbox. I wasn't sure that [spoiler]Momo could be the mastermind behind all the underwear disappearing events [/spoiler] until I re-read Momo's chapter. And [spoiler]I highly suspect Finn could be his partner in crime[/spoiler]! Ha! Later in the story, I learned [spoiler]Gray is actually from Hawaii and he is an orphan[/spoiler], [spoiler]Wilbur is clumsy when it comes to gaming[/spoiler], and [spoiler]It is not the first time Finn tries to grow facial hair[/spoiler]. The characters are so alive, and the story just seems real. [h3]Beautiful and Heartwarming[/h3] A story is only good as long as it is well-presented, and the Omurice Next Time has done it beautifully. You will be amazed how cute the art style is, it reminds me a lot of the classic 90s anime I watched in my childhood. Watching the Finn and Gray live their life and enjoy their small happiness brings real healing power. Hopefully one day, I could live in a small town like Windreach, surrounded by those I care about. Nothing fancy is needed, life is just life. Omurice Next Time will be cherished in my heart for as long as I can remember.
