Fireside Feelings

Fireside feelings is a reflective and mindful game made to share and understand others perspectives. In this game you create a character and you are given prompts that have deep questions for you to respond to, for example what would a successful life look like to you. When you respond to one of these prompts you are given the response of an anonymous person who answered the question in the past. This person will never know who their response was sent to. Your response is then stored for the next person who answers the same questions I love this because I get to see so many different perspectives on different things. I learned about the daily schedule of a new mother, I learned what childhood was like for someone who could barely walk, and I learned what goals someone who struggles feeling emotions sets for themself to connect with people. One of the best parts is that somewhere out there someone is getting my unique perspective on life and hopefully feels like they understand others a little more clearly. I feel like this game has helped me to look at other’s perspectives in life instead of always looking at my own. It also helps me to clear my thoughts when I lay it all out in writing. These deep questions also help me to remember things from my past that I had completely forgotten: a childhood toy, my dreams as a kid, and words of advice I had long forgotten. When I talk about related things with others I remember these nostalgic things and it brings a smile to my face remembering the good old days I would recommend this game If you enjoy deep conversations without having to worry about judgement. It may not be a fast paced FPS, but there’s something so refreshing about playing this game.

To preface this isn't a game for everyone. It requires you to be open and understand that this is not a chat app. This is a place to vent and share thoughts with other anonymous folk. If you're a person who isn't up to sharing and divulging information about yourself you won't have much appreciation for it. I however love reading the thoughts of another person and sharing mine with others. I'm not a super insightful person but i've lived a lot of life and have plenty of experiences to share... that said I am never done learning in fact I have had a total of 7 conversations so far and I have been taught quite a few things by fellow users. One person taught me about some Spanish cuisine, another searched up the definition of Ecology and informed me it's root meaning is stemmed off of the word for study and home... meaning the study of your home or where you belong. Not everyone will get the same thing out of the conversations but if you're open to learning and sharing what you know... it's great for that. It's more of a social experiment than a game per se but the developers have some real passion behind them and I am excited to see how this project grows and what they will come up with in the future. To the developers. Keep it up. You guys are great! To my fellow players. Keep on conversing and stay positive. To those who are here to stir the pot and cause problems find somewhere else.

I am very sorry to be "that guy", but these perfectly edited AI answers are killing the entire atmosphere. Even though I want to believe developers are not using AI prompts, the phrases are still smoothly edited, which eliminates the feeling I am talking to a real person. I want to see spelling errors, I want to see imperfection, I want to see people swearing and emotions because it's how people interact to each other. Instead, I have a feeling I am talking to a wall, and it makes no sense to extend my answers, as they will be changed to please a perfectionist developer. It executes perfectly the concept it tries to be. If you're someone who likes talking about your feelings, go for it. However, if you don't, I would still recommend because the game's not expensive and also it's on sale all the time, BUT: keep in mind you'll play it for 3-4h and then never come at it again.

This game is a nice little hole in the wall to talk and discuss your feels in an interesting environment. I love that you get to hear from others and really get to know that other person while you are having the conversation. After completing all the achievements I find myself happy and satisfied i got the game all together.

Un jeu qui m'a fait pleurer dès la première session. Parler avec des gens que l'on connait pas, que l'on recroisera pas, et juste partager des expériences avec tout le monde et personne, est un certain concept. L'objectif "Fêter ceux qui m'aident à tenir debout" m'a fini, mais c'est personnel

Fireside Feelings is a rare, beautiful space for sharing the weight and joy of being human. What makes it so personal is the virtual wall of past conversations, pinning a photo in your space transforms a fleeting, deep connection into a permanent anchor.
