Tomorrow for Mar

Just about the cutest game you'll ever play! I had a ton of fun wandering around campus, especially with all the little meta-jokes. Humorous and light-hearted and just so sweet, Lamond and Mar are so adorable together and I loved watching them figure things out <3 Great music choices and sound design to complement this bubbly little delight of a game! And now I want a cheese spell in real life :( Highly recommend to anyone who wants a fun trip around a magic academy and a sweet romance to explore with a wizard and their dreamy warrior crush :p

ENG: Beautiful, tiny and sweet visual romantic comedy novel, with lovely hand-drawn pictures, lasts about an hour and the price is affordable. The only negative I could point out is that the resolution is not widescreen and that the interface, although handcrafted, is a bit awkward (something that improves in his other title Heart is Muscle), looking forward to a next game from the dev. Lo único negativo que podría señalar es que la resolución no es widescreen y que la interfaz, aunque artesanal, es un poco incomoda (cosa que mejora en su otro titulo Heart is Muscle).

*CAHAM* I promised I would make a BIG nice review for this game as soon as I could get my hands in it, so. here I am. Since the itch.io's lauch (two months ago) I was DESPERATE to play this. BUT I COULDN'T. MY CARD ISN'T INTERNATIONAL. IT DOESN'T LET ME BUY THINGS FROM OUTSIDE MY COUNTRY. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA I thought: Well. This is nothing new. I had give up on my dream of playing Heart is Muscle for the same reason. It's okay. Sometimes, you just need to let it go... i thought. BUT IMAGINE MY JOY AND SURPRISE WHEN HEIDEN ANNOUNCED THAT TOMORROW FOR MAR WAS COMING TO STEAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! STEAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YEAH, I COULD BUY A GAME ON STEAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WITH MY OWN LITTLE MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WITH NO PROBLEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YEEEEEHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!! I have to admit: I'm a sucker for Heiden's games. I turn into a fan of everything they come up with. All games are so very addicting in their own way. One of the things I admire the most in this developer is the way they always show up with something new. Each game have it's own vibe, it's own mechanics, but I can always see Heiden's little fingerprint in it. It's always a joy to play. Be it a pick-me-up story or a angst setting, I can't help but love everything they make. *Caham*, so. About the game itself. I LOVE MAR, OKAY???????? AND I LOVE LAMOND TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THEY'RE SO CUTE TOGETHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I WISH THEM ALL THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I loved the characters and the story and the art and all the little 2.5D thingy. It was so cute seeing Mar walking and I never had seen something 2.5D so IT WAS VERY INTERESTING!!!!! All characters are charismatic too. I love them all. Especially little bro. HOPE YOU'RE WELL BRO!!!!!!!!! CAREFUL WITH THOSE CARROTS BRO!!!!!!! And it was so fun playing around with the spells! I was afraid of getting a bad ending doing the wrong thing to the wrong person but everything turned out fine!!!!!!!!! thank god!!!!!!!!!!! oh, and the plant responses were all so very cute <3 i love them too I can imagine the STRUGGLE to make this ambitious game work in such short time so I have to say: YOU DID AN AMAZING JOB, HEIDEN!!!!!!!!!!! AND I'M NOT A CHEATER, I BEATED THE GAME BEFORE SEEING THE CONCEPT ARTS SCREEN I SWEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND YOU HAVE A NICE HANDWRITING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND I'm still wondering how lamond saw mar's little butt under all that cape..................................................... i wonder................................. he must be pretty................... uhhhhhhhh......................... attentive..............right................. *blushes* well i think that's all i have to say. it's no surprise i loved this game, since i love pretty much everything you make. but again, i wouldn't love it if it wasn't so good in the first place. i'm glad i could finally buy this. and i hope i can spend more money on your things, because i will gladly do so. heart is muscle when??????? jk

Tomorrow for Mar is a cute little visual novel/adventure game featuring two protagonists who are just… dorky and adorable and I couldn’t help but to internally go “squee!” seeing them be stupid with each other (and I mean stupid in the most affectionate way). I couldn’t help but to have a big dumb grin the whole way through playing the game. The writing is charming and funny, accompanied by really fun and expressive sprites. The game is filled with a lot of love and charm, it's a bundle of lighthearted fun~

I haven't finished this game yet and I have a feeling I'll take a while because I am trash and garbage at puzzles. But I'm enjoying it a lot so far and it's super cute! Favourite character is easily Bro lmao. Also... sword elongation spell. : ^ y EDIT: OK I FINISHED IT IT'S VERY CUTE.

Tomorrow for Mar is an adventure game masquerading as a visual novel, or a visual novel masquerading as an adventure game. Either way, it's perfect if you have an hour and want to play a story-based game with quirky graphics and fun writing. The puzzles make logical sense and are just the right difficulty to keep the story going.

I had the goofiest smile on my face even when I got lost at a couple of clues. Short, Sweet, and so much cheese (affectionate).
