Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Aug 24 → 1.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Occupy Mars is a technical, open-world sandbox, survival game about Mars colonization inspired by the most promising technologies and companies that are working towards the goal of humanity becoming a multi-planet species.
Explore different regions of Mars while searching for valuable resources, discover mining sites, and find the best place to build a city. Remember that you need to find a relatively leveled area with good access to underground water in a place where temperatures don't drop too much during the night.

Build and upgrade your base, craft equipment, mine resources, produce water, oxygen and food, explore an open world, and repair complex machinery in a technical survival sandbox.

Manage your energy production and build your electricity grid. Make sure that there is enough water, oxygen, power, and food to survive.

Fix broken parts using realistic electronic components and tools. Learn the basics soldering, using hot air, measurement tools, and all the details necessary to fix your equipment.

Upgrade your vehicles and equipment in your garage. Organize your workshop and modify your rover. Change crane hydraulics, operate the robotic arm, dig for valuable resources, build mining rigs, and more...

Build greenhouses, oxygen tanks, fuel generators, connect all the pipes and cables, and remember about proper cable management. Grow your own food.

Experience an open-world sandbox game with a realistic day/night cycle and overcome real challenges that colonists face. Build solar arrays and batteries for energy storage, upgrade them, and find the optimal way to power your colony.

Occupying Mars is not always easy. Sometimes things will explode, break or not go exactly as planned. Learn to cope with "Rapid Unscheduled Disassembly.” Sometimes you have to really act quickly before you run out of air, food, or energy.

...but most importantly HAVE FUN on Mars!

fantastic game very enjoyable
This game won't run on my 2year old computer (bogs down) Iris GPU. The graphics do not look so amazing to justify not running on what I consider a decent computer.
I was waiting for this game for a long time. I did not buy it before the 1.0 launch because I didn't want to enter into a buggy mess. I waited for 1.0, and entered into a buggy mess. The rover freaks out, quest objectives get stuck (making the main story quest locked and unable to be completed), the physics engine (while fairly impressive) just refuses any kind of logic. Mining big rocks by hand is a pain, and getting into the rover's drill to do it an exercise in futility. The game crashes, it refuses to load some textures and the exception handler is apparently coded to "keep this thread going indefinitely until something happens" and when nothing happens, windows believe that it's a locked process and shuts it down. It's not my PC. I am on a 13th gen I7, an Asus TUF 4090, 96GB of 6400MT RAM. It's definitely an issue with the bugs in this "full release" title. This was not ready for 1.0. Not even close.

Ja fiquei preso entre as rodas do Hover e a parede e ja atravessei o chão e cai no limbo do jogo algumas vezes.
Nice idea, but the relenting pursuit of food, spoils the game as there is no time to build bases, etc... and enjoy the surroundings. There is never enough food in the other settlements you come across, personally searched a dozen settlements before finding 1 pouch. Also, the biggest issues so far are the building problems, i.e. extension battery packs won’t build next to the battery pack!!! making it impossible to save enough energy to last the nights and grow your own food. This is supposed to be the final release.
The devs are constantly improving the game by fixing bugs and making it more performance friendly if you see the negative reviews are at the release 1.0
“The game is decent, but the optimization is lagging. I’m going to play it to the logical end — hopefully my viewers will enjoy it too.
Great game. a few little bugs but mainly runs great. Gameplay is hard and in depth, but rewarding. Great job devs. Looking forward to seeing future developments.
