Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Aug 24 → 1.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Occupy Mars is a technical, open-world sandbox, survival game about Mars colonization inspired by the most promising technologies and companies that are working towards the goal of humanity becoming a multi-planet species.
Explore different regions of Mars while searching for valuable resources, discover mining sites, and find the best place to build a city. Remember that you need to find a relatively leveled area with good access to underground water in a place where temperatures don't drop too much during the night.

Build and upgrade your base, craft equipment, mine resources, produce water, oxygen and food, explore an open world, and repair complex machinery in a technical survival sandbox.

Manage your energy production and build your electricity grid. Make sure that there is enough water, oxygen, power, and food to survive.

Fix broken parts using realistic electronic components and tools. Learn the basics soldering, using hot air, measurement tools, and all the details necessary to fix your equipment.

Upgrade your vehicles and equipment in your garage. Organize your workshop and modify your rover. Change crane hydraulics, operate the robotic arm, dig for valuable resources, build mining rigs, and more...

Build greenhouses, oxygen tanks, fuel generators, connect all the pipes and cables, and remember about proper cable management. Grow your own food.

Experience an open-world sandbox game with a realistic day/night cycle and overcome real challenges that colonists face. Build solar arrays and batteries for energy storage, upgrade them, and find the optimal way to power your colony.

Occupying Mars is not always easy. Sometimes things will explode, break or not go exactly as planned. Learn to cope with "Rapid Unscheduled Disassembly.” Sometimes you have to really act quickly before you run out of air, food, or energy.

...but most importantly HAVE FUN on Mars!

The game is in a very bad state, at least in terms of COOP multiplayer. 1. And this is the worst, the game is practically unplayable: LOAD/SAVE/AUTOSAVE of a game with a smaller base of 2 players (75 days in the game) takes about 8-13 minutes on 64GB RAM and 16 cores and a GEN5 SSD disk! 1Gbit UP+1Gbit Down optical Internet (both server and player). 2. Autosave every morning is a must, the game sometimes crashes or starts to have anomalies and a LOAD is necessary. 3. Interaction with objects is unresponsive ... as long as the door closing animation is running on one object, even if the player moves to another object and activates another element, the "focus/select" is still on the original object which is then switched/activated, instead of activating/switching the currently focused object. So all interaction is lengthy, and you have to wait until the animation on the original object + 0.5 seconds "finishes" and then click on the new object. Frustrating, you can't do anything quickly. 4. Sometimes parts of elements in objects are lost (when damaged), after repair they do not reappear, a RELOAD of the server and all players is required (i.e. a loss of about 20 minutes (8-13 minutes save, 8-13 minutes load). 5. Waypoints on the map are not updated for other players, only when LOADing the save, and sometimes not. 6. Sometimes an object stops responding when interacting with the player, then a reload save is required (20 minutes loss). 7. During SAVE, the game is in PAUSE mode. 8. Connecting a player to the game means PAUSE mode, where the game does SAVE and then LOAD. BUGS and glitches I understand, I accept. I have no problem with the game sometimes crashing, or something stops responding, if it can be solved by RELOAD and RECONNECT. But it has to be fast, not that out of 1 hour of play, we spend 20-30 minutes waiting for SAVE/LOAD. The most urgent task for developers should be: 1) SAVE/LOAD in SECONDS, not tens of seconds or minutes!!! Ideally in the background, without the need for PAUSE. 2) Reconnect players to a running game without the need for PAUSE. ... then even mistakes and bugs can be forgiven.

Molto coinvolgente. A parte un paio di bug che spero sistemino a breve con la stessa velocità con cui sono comparsi. Promette di migliorare. Magari qualche spiegazione in più. Certo qualche video su youtube chiarifica tutto.
clunky, garbage tutorial and holy hell let's just blow the base and tell you to get out but not mention you can crouch or do anything to get past obstacles so you face slam against failure a dozen times before you can get past the start of the game and that's AFTER doing the tutorial. what a waste
it is fun
I'd wait for some more bugfixes. Edit: I'll allow comments because I'd like to know how this happened: Did some of the developers play the game for several hours and then say: "Yes, everything works well, we can call this a V1.0 now!" ??? Or did someone in the management say: "It takes most people more than two hours to get annoyed by all the bugs, and then the time for a refund is over, so let's sell this as V1.0!" ???
sehr gute spiel
Jogo muito dificil de sobreviver com o clima mudando todo momento sem dar tempo de fazer nada.
Schrott
"Occupy Mars" is a game with a fairly high learning curve. I spent almost an entire day studying the manual. I didn't regret the time spent. Excellent game! I hope it takes a worthy place in its genre. I wish the developers success and good luck!
It is fun, maybe too obnoxiously realistic, finding myself having to Google too much. SO MANY BUGS! Vehicles just randomly stop working, but save/reload and it's fixed. Achievements are broken. I've completed several of the things that are showing as still "grayed out". Game was NOT ready for 1.0. They released a EA game as finished. Giving a bad review for now till they fix all the nonsense. I don't even want to keep playing....
