Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Aug 24 → 1.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Occupy Mars is a technical, open-world sandbox, survival game about Mars colonization inspired by the most promising technologies and companies that are working towards the goal of humanity becoming a multi-planet species.
Explore different regions of Mars while searching for valuable resources, discover mining sites, and find the best place to build a city. Remember that you need to find a relatively leveled area with good access to underground water in a place where temperatures don't drop too much during the night.

Build and upgrade your base, craft equipment, mine resources, produce water, oxygen and food, explore an open world, and repair complex machinery in a technical survival sandbox.

Manage your energy production and build your electricity grid. Make sure that there is enough water, oxygen, power, and food to survive.

Fix broken parts using realistic electronic components and tools. Learn the basics soldering, using hot air, measurement tools, and all the details necessary to fix your equipment.

Upgrade your vehicles and equipment in your garage. Organize your workshop and modify your rover. Change crane hydraulics, operate the robotic arm, dig for valuable resources, build mining rigs, and more...

Build greenhouses, oxygen tanks, fuel generators, connect all the pipes and cables, and remember about proper cable management. Grow your own food.

Experience an open-world sandbox game with a realistic day/night cycle and overcome real challenges that colonists face. Build solar arrays and batteries for energy storage, upgrade them, and find the optimal way to power your colony.

Occupying Mars is not always easy. Sometimes things will explode, break or not go exactly as planned. Learn to cope with "Rapid Unscheduled Disassembly.” Sometimes you have to really act quickly before you run out of air, food, or energy.

...but most importantly HAVE FUN on Mars!

Reviews

Great game, love to be able to explore find new stuff and update things as you go. building as you please great game for killing hours on end.
pgiwsragpiosjn EDIT bc developer..... However, we honestly have no idea what you mean by your comment, as it appears to be just a random string of letters..... Tell your AI secretary to get a pen and paper : I had to walk off the bleeding in my brain that I got from playing this game. For 49 minutes, I restarted the tutorial over and over because something kept bugging out, falling under the texture, or there was no option for interaction...I was like, okay, screw it, I'm going to run a campaign.... for the next two hours, I went to the first destination and tried to interact with Marstruck. Of course, I was unsuccessful. The vehicle battery had disappeared, so the only option was to go round and round clearing away the rubble and looking into cars inventory loading in and out praying it works.... At that point, I said to myself, I want to play this, I'll go to the sandbox, it has to work..... For the next four hours, I struggled in sandbox with disappearing solar cells, cement that couldn't be lifted from the ground, and rollbacks while saving the game on my way out. At one point, the game asked me to take a picture of something and send it to the developers... a picture of what? I was too bussy picking up items after landing and restarting game without them getting stuck in the floor. This game defeated me. Test Drive Solar Crown couldn't do it, but you did.
The game is fun. I played it off and on enjoying starting over after a while, doing better every time I started over. If there is anything I'd like improvement on, it would be the crane length, for building, harvesting and picking up rocks. It's always a rock that's just a little out of the way so now I have to move the whole thing just to pick it up. It's a [strike]miner[/strike] minor issue.
