Sehr schönes Spiel. Liebevolle Cutcenes.
The game seems to be fun, in the same mold as the exploration series, but it has a particularly annoying recurring bug: after an action in a fight with one of your Vikings, the "end turn" command disappears, you get stuck, and need to reboot the game and lose your progress — unless you save-scum every turn, which somehow mitigates this annoying bug. I will pause my playthrough and wait for the devs to fix this bug. After that (if they do it in a reasonable time) and I'm able to continue my campaign, I will probably change my vote. With this bug, I cannot recommend the game.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The game is good, its base and ideas are there and they are good. However, it is a bugfest. Bugs such as 100% chance hit but miss, enemies go inside the bodies / tiles of your allies and you cannot aim at them or move from them, graphical gliches like various textures disappearing, ui disappearing like the aoe indication, gear is missing class icons especially when you want to buy new gear from the villages, the description of some abilities is not very clear about what they actually do or IF THEY ARE DELAYED ABILITIES. You find out afterwards. Not to mention hundreds of placeholders in descriptions like <PLACE NUMBER HERE BRO>, <IT SHOULD PROVIDE SWIFT, BUT WE DO NOT HAVE IT AS A BUFF, DUNNO DONT CARE> and other placeholders for the skills... The list could go on with how many bugs and issues there are. The story, the gameplay and the music are nice. From mid to end game there is nothing to build in your town and the special items are pretty limited. I like the new change that the skirmish battles are now repeatable because it allows you to upgrade earlier and farm faster in earlier stages of the game, in case you need help and make the game easier. The game is linear so do not expect much. The hit chance is from XCOM cancer era. Even with 100% chance it misses. In fact, the % chance it does not matter. Just have high crit chance and 1 shot every one. The OP classes are Berserk > two handed axe > archer. Have one spear guy for support buffs and provide extra turns on OP Berserk and literally go berserk. I wanted to give it a negative review for all these bugs and because it is very clear that it was half baked and you rushed it for release. Like the project manager said "ye it is going to be ready in 2 days" and it wanted 6 extra months for the bugs and placeholders. I will give it a positive review because it is a small team in Norway and the attempt was good. But you should have released it in Early access for 6 months until you iron it. It is unacceptable when the devs release the games in this state. Would you like it if half of the materials from your pizza were missing or it was top down and a turd in the middle ? Ye, that's what I thought...
It is rare for me to sit through the end credits after completing a game, but NORSE: Oath of Blood is a 10/10 for me. Not because it is flawless or groundbreaking, but because it is executed as solidly as a game of this scale can possibly be. It doesn't try to imitate any other title, and I take my hat off to the motion capture team for their incredible work. The game strikes a great balance between historical accuracy and a subtle touch of fantasy. The narrative is the true icing on the cake—engaging, packed with plot twists, and dripping with an atmosphere that puts major AAA titles to shame. On top of that, the soundtrack is an absolute gem. I highly recommend it!
I had been waiting for this game for a long time. After its rough launch, I decided to wait almost seven months for the patches before playing. I'd say there's a beautiful game underneath, but that surface is still covered with a lot of rough edges. I haven't finished the campaign yet, so keep that in mind. I'll just list what I liked and disliked to give you an idea. *LIKES* -The cinematics are surprisingly good, especially for a studio of this size. I'd love to see what they could do with a bigger budget. -The story starts as a typical revenge tale, but I like the different layers that unfold as the story progresses. -The gameplay is above average, and some of the combat combos are genuinely fun. -The visuals are generally very nice. -The main characters actually have personalities instead of feeling like generic nobodies. -Simple but enjoyable city-building mechanics. -The music is good, although I wish there was a bit more of it. -The variety of quest types is good enough for a game of this scale. *DISLIKES* -There are still too many bugs: turn-passing bugs, compass bugs, character bugs, skill bugs... the list goes on. -The UI feels a bit clunky. -The dialogue during turn transitions doesn't really add anything meaningful. -Crafting and trading are too simplistic—it's basically just collecting a few materials and clicking "Craft." -I don't like how equipment classes are indicated. Whenever I want to craft something, I end up clicking through multiple menus just to double-check which class can actually use the item. -The enemy AI is pretty dumb. -Some cinematics randomly freeze and then suddenly skip to the next scene. It always feels like I accidentally clicked and skipped something, even though I didn't. -Switching between buildings to construct or inspect them is a pain. -The building status indicators are confusing. Most buildings have a green marker on the side, but sometimes it means they're available and other times it means they're already under construction. It's not very intuitive. Despite all these issues, I can see a lot of potential here. I'd really like to see what this developer could accomplish with a bigger budget and a little more development time. They came very close to making something great but fell short in several areas. Hopefully, the experience they gained from this project will help them make an even better sequel—or an even better next game. FINAL VERDICT (Personal Experience) 70/100
Good story, the action points and fight mechanics could be explained a bit better but the skill trees and weapons upgrades were designed well. If the difficulty were harder it would be better but overall a good game that will keep you entertained.
So after finishing the game i can give my honest Rating on it, the game is 7/10 Combat is fun upto last 2-3 missions there are a bunch of skill shared between classes around midway you would have a 2 man team that'd oblitrate mobs and bosses every thing outside of combat and dialogues(extremely corny and sometimes hilarious) is meaningless Crafting is pointless since you need blueprints that you rarely get Variety of armour and weapons is abyssmal trade is a load of hogwash Village is mostly pointless only for food other resources are pointless since again not much to craft, most resources you get goes into levelling up village Story is rushed at the end they didnt follow up on invading britin A whole bunch of bugs like insane amounts game has controller support Thats pretty much what ive based my rating on Dont buy at full price , Its a short and fun game if you got it cheap otherwise youll be nitpicking and eventually refunding it Adio.
Игру на легком уровне прошел за 2 дня. В целом могли бы сделать подлиннее игру, а так как фильм посмотрел. Ни долгой прокачки ни кучу оружия....
Sadly i have to give this a negative review. I love TB RPG's and Norse themed games but still that is not enough to like this. Positives: - story is amazing, very good. Neutral: -turn based combat which i love, gets boring in this game. encounters become easier and easier the more equipment you get. Bad: - bugs, many many bugs. - not optimized - full of stutters and even more bugs. - you are wathcing a beatufill cutscene an then the mouth stop moving. - short game, 17h without rushing - no replay value other than increasing the difficulty.
