About

In the years before the Norman Conquest, you are granted stewardship of Greenwood. Noble Legacy is a third-person medieval kingdom builder where you construct your settlement piece by piece, attract villagers, assign jobs, gather resources, establish production and trade, and provide for your people through harsh winters, afflictions, and raids. Grow your standing, expand your realm, and build a legacy that lasts for generations.

Endure harsh weather, seasonal shifts, and dangerous wildlife as the world itself tests your settlement’s resilience. Prepare for the cold, adapt to changing conditions, and protect your people from threats beyond your walls.

Experience a deep kingdom management simulator elevated through a dynamic third-person perspective. Effortlessly toggle between a strategic top-down view to oversee and govern your realm and an immersive third-person view to explore your lands, connect with your people, and build your kingdom’s future.

Venture beyond familiar paths to uncover quests, discoverable points of interest, and strategic locations across the Greenwood. Scout resource-rich regions, defensible terrain, and ideal settlement sites as exploration directly informs your expansion and long-term survival. Through Early Access, Discover Quests, Easter Eggs, Loot, Bosses and Discoverable Villagers to recruit as we expand on content with your direct feedback.

Attract the most valuable villagers in the land and turn them into loyal followers to strengthen your kingdom. Ensure their homes are properly furnished, entertainment is plentiful and provide cutting-edge tools to sustain their loyalty and boost their productivity. How many of the land’s greatest talents will you inspire to serve your cause?

The lands beyond your settlement are unforgiving. Brigands roam the open countryside, rival barons stake their claims, and the wild itself poses a constant threat to the unprepared. As your domain grows, so too does the attention it attracts—raids intensify, dangers escalate, and survival becomes a test of foresight rather than reaction.
Prepare defenses, arm your people, and secure vital resources to withstand mounting pressure. Whether facing organized bandit camps, roaming wildlife, or the slow collapse brought on by neglect, every decision shapes your ability to endure in a world that does not forgive weakness.
Throughout Early Access we plan to develop and expand on Raids, Alliances, Edicts to establish increased security for your settlement.

Craft tools, weapons, armor, and goods through layered production chains that fuel a living economy. Assign roles, manage resources, and turn surplus into profit as visitors and traders transform your settlement into a regional trade hub. Complexity grows alongside your population, rewarding thoughtful planning and skilled leadership. As Early Access progresses, experience more recipes, rewards, and crafting disciplines to expand your productivity & security.

Engage with rival barons, neighboring villages, and influential figures through diplomacy, reputation, and hard-won alliances. Every decision shapes how the realm responds to your rule. Will your decisions place Duke William on the Throne of England? Or will Normandy look within itself for new leadership?
Throughout Early Access we plan to develop and expand on Diplomacy which will trigger rivalries, battles, or bolster trade through alliances.

Great game that draws you in. Played 83 hours so far. I found it more fun than similar games like Bellwright and Medieval Dynasty. It is early access so a bit limited in scope but growing with each update. Village building is great, combat system is not great. Not sure why Valheim works so well whereas in this game it is a bit "clunky" though on the plus side it does not affect the overall game too much.
i have so much faith in this game! please continue the hard work i love it

So not sure if people are paying attention to this one or not. I bought it when it was first released and it seemed ok, but wasn't too impressed. I just hopped back on this, so its been 9 months or so. Man this game has everything and it looks as good as any game I own. It has the look of Pax Dei, maybe even better, yet has the town and city building of Bellwright, and now they added survival mechanics. Soon this will have marriage and bloodlines like medieval dynasty. So better graphics than all 3 of them and a bigger variety of content than most. Also the content is good, the npc,s not only look good, they lip sync great and their facial expressions are really good. The one thing it doesn't have is Armor, or at least Armor with stats. It might, I just don't see any options for it yet. Thats the one thing that could really make this one of the best games out.
Addictive. Frequent updates. Helpful discord community.
Overall the game is pretty immersive the building of your very own town from scratch is addicting.. The dialog is pretty ok, the customization of your population is bad** My biggest complaint that I learned late stage is the lack of Peasants you get.. 20 for manual labor which is pathetically low where pop is capped around 80 If you are building an entire ass kingdom would be cool if you can get atleast 200+ and *NOT* cap certain classes of your own people. The Farm Raising is just confusing asf. Make population more random on classes Please! overall its at a 7/10.. we gotta get more people if we are really going for the full kingdom building mode. <3 you k bye
Very fun and promising game. :)
I honestly think this game deserves more popularity. My partner makes jokes about how this is my 5th medieval peasant simulator as I've extensively played early access games like Medieval Dynasty, Bell Wright, Pax Dei, etc. These all have their pros and cons, but this one has surprisingly become my favorite. It's the only one that makes me feel I'm actually building a village that's alive and bustling. It also let's me build the most creatively with a modular system. Don't worry if you're not into detailing every single villagers house though! The game has blueprints that players can share and add to their games through steam. I wish I had more time to play this. The devs are very active, care about their game, respond to player feedback and so far have been updating more often than I expected. The downsides? Well it's an early access game, personally I love this type of game but if bugs, jankiness, performance, features, etc are important, then you probably want to wait a bit. It's also usually recommended to start a new save for major updates. I think my PC struggles a bit with running this unless I spend a bit of time tweaking the graphic settings but it's long overdue an upgrade to keep up with newer games imo. The building learning curve was also very steep and required a ton of patience, so it's not the easiest to get into and there was a severe lack of decoration options. Hopefully they'll add more or open it to allow modding decorations only which I think would be perfect for this type of game. Still I found I had the most fun decorating, I just had to be extra creative and really push what I could do with the limited options. As a sidenote, if you played Pax Dei and loved the flexibility of the building system but hate the devs direction, lack of content, lifelessness, and the fact that creativity is stonewalled by a crappy value subscription, then this game might be the next best thing. Devs, if you read this, the two things I'd love to see is allowing mods for decorations/clutter so the community can fill this out and let yourselves focus on the game mechanics. The other is please make it easier to combine living quarters with working quarters, I had so much fun building a blacksmith's with a little bedroom upstairs and a tavern with sleeping beds upstairs. It required some serious pixel perfect precision though that I think would make a lot of people rage quite. Perhaps something like letting blueprints snap together would work? I'm sure you all can come up with a good solution to this! Oh and can we please keep the special dog you added? Pretty please!
