Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 25 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Dungeons & Kingdoms is a medieval fantasy strategy and RPG hybrid. Take control as leader of a small group of refugees fleeing from an unlivable homeland. Make landfall in a new world and start a new life. Build everything yourself. Or lay down blueprints and give orders to your loyal colonists. Build infrastructure, manage needs, gather resources, farm crops and hunt wild animals. Do whatever it takes to survive.
Then dive into dangerous dungeons and face the monsters within. Explore every room, test your combat abilities and defeat the dungeon bosses to reap the rewards, unlock new resources and advance your tech.
Forage and farm for food to keep your villagers alive. Craft tools. Harvest resources to build shelters and early buildings to advance your economy. You'll need to brave realistic full day and night cycles as you live through the seasons and gain valuable skills and knowledge.
Upgrade and construct unique buildings through a modular building system. Mix and match over 100 unique building pieces, with more to come during early access. Create buildings from scratch or make blueprints that you can edit, improve, and share on the Steam Workshop.
Sculpt the terrain and make it hospitable for your new settlement - Flatten large areas for farming, raise or lower platforms for building plots, fill in valleys, dig out moats and trenches. Paint lush grassy and forest areas or remove vegetation to make room for more roads, buildings, and people.
Take on the dangers that live outside your walls. Hunt wild beasts to feed your villagers and protect the roads from outlaws and raiders in third person action RPG style combat. Protect your people, defend your lands, and project your kingdom's power.
Discover ancient ruins and temples, then face the monsters within. Explore every room, test your combat abilities and defeat the dungeon bosses to reap the rewards and advance your kingdom's tech

⚠️ WARNING: Alpha State - 0% Ready for Launch Do not buy this game unless you are specifically looking to fund the future development and understand that the current state is merely a basic prototype. This is not a finished product and has zero playability.

Nowhere near ready to be played, so many bugs and major game play issues. For someone who has been playing games for over 40 years now and played thousands of them in all categories, and been involved in hundreds of beta and alpha testing of games, this was a horrible experience so far. Developers need to stop releasing unfinished games that need a lot of development time before even being remotely playable. We as consumers need to stop thinking this is the way game development is supposed to work. Heck I coded better games on my commodore 64 back when game cartridges were a thing. This style of game has so much potential but you will lose such a large majority of your following trying to make a buck before it should have been released. This is not early access, this is play testing components within the game that should be a closed invite only alpha testing phase not early access. I would not have paid for this if I knew it was not even ready for a public paid release.
I went into this Early Access release expecting rough edges and missing systems, but what’s currently available feels far earlier than what is typically implied by “Early Access.” At the moment, the content on offer barely reaches demo territory. After setting up an initial campfire, most progression immediately hits a wall, with core buildings and mechanics locked behind “Full Game only” labels, which is confusing and frustrating for a paid release. Performance and usability are major issues. Menus, tutorials, inventory management, and combat all feel clunky and unpolished. Workers frequently get stuck, stop responding, or require constant manual resets. Basic interactions like gathering resources, crafting tools, or even having NPCs function through the first night can fail outright. Bugs are expected at this stage, but the volume and severity here significantly impact playability. The scope also falls far short of what the description and trailers suggest. There are very few building options, little sense of progression, missing blueprints, vague unlock systems, and no meaningful narrative or structure to anchor the experience. At its current price point, it’s difficult to justify when far more complete Early Access titles exist in the same range. That said, there are glimpses of potential. The underlying concept is solid, and some of the systems hint at deeper mechanics that could be genuinely compelling with time. If the developers continue to iterate, expand content, and stabilize core gameplay, this could eventually become something worthwhile. For now, this feels more like a closed alpha or prototype than a consumer-ready Early Access product. I hope future updates bring it closer to what was promised, but at this stage, I would recommend waiting before buying unless you are specifically interested in supporting development rather than playing a functional game today.
This game is still way too new to be out. My character changes every time I load in. my tree harvesters chop trees down and leave them, instead of putting them away. I'm not sure if any of the people I have tried to assign to building have built anything, even after activating the build and making sure there are mallets laying around and It takes ForEver to build anything yourself. There are so many little annoying things that I don't know the words for. I haven't gotten very far into the game but I will say I am pretty hooked. I really like the concept and this is a type of game I was waiting to see. I can't wait to see what happens with it but it needs a good bit of touching up before I'd recommend buying it to anyone. However, I would tell people to keep an eye on it.
Game concept have a real potential but this isn't a Early Access, that isn't even a paid Beta. This is a f... alpha build test!
Also nicht abschreiben sondern fördern!
Not ready for any kind of launch yet.
I saw a video on Instagram, advertising this game. It looked like a fun concept, but i was a bit cautious. I think we all have seen these videos online promoting a video game that doenst even really exists yet.. but as i went on Steam, i saw this game already was in Early Access. Then i saw the reviews, which are mostly negative and i was sceptical again. But then i realized two things: 1. most of the negative reviews are from December 2025. The game was launched in November 2025, so these reviews are all from about one month after Release. And 2. Since then, there have been a few Updates to the game, some quite big. Then i had a question: Maybe these old negative reviews are not valid anymore? So i bought the Early Access Version and here is my verdict: Its not as bad as the comments make it seem. Its definitely Early Access with some problems, but it runs and you get a rough look at the building and management aspect of it. Obviously, there is some content still locked, but you definitely have enough to build a basic settlement. And a few other 'problems' make it slow and clunky (my character changed when i loaded back in, cutting down trees is slow, building is a little difficult to figure out) but again, for an Early Access, its totally fine. I got it on a discount during the 'medieval sale' which is okay, paying the full prize asked is for the moment a little too much for what you get in my opinion. However the Devs seem to be active and putting in work, which is a good sign that this will in the future be a completed project.
