Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.14/day in the week to Sep 1 → 2.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
Since the day I found out about this game, there's been an ongoing review bombing that's unfair to the dev team and the game itself; so I'll give you an actually fair summary of what to expect when playing through Nightingale. First things first, this game is a survival crafting game where you're casted out into the Fae Realms, alternative dimensions where you can feel the magic sparkling in the air. You will be able to create your very own houses wherever you please with a blueprint based construction system (akin to Valheim but without the weather degradation and gravity destruction), craft powerful tools, magic spells and weapons such as halberds, firearms, or even crossbows that shoot magic marbles. Now here's where the fun part of the game begins, because items that you craft will have special perks depending on the materials that you used to craft said item; so for example: using a "gold ingot" gives the item a 10% magic damage increase, but a "lacunus ingot" will give it a 4-12% melee damage increase depending on its rarity. This also changes the texture your finished product has, and if for whatever reason you don't like the material's appearance (einaidia metal is a very deep purple), there's a transmog system that allows you to customize the appearance of everything while retaining whatever build you've managed to cook up. Moving on with more original systems, Nightingale also offers some really innovative gameplay in the shape of magical cards that change the environment of the realm you're in, both bringing benefits and drawbacks to everyone inside. For example, you can make it so that it's always raining, boosting your magical power but constantly getting you wet unless you have an umbrella. On top of this, there's a very intricate story being told as you play, and you even have the possibility to open up portals to realms that are procedurally generated (for all my fellas who love procedural generation). I personally recommend you buy the game, even out of discount, since in my opinion it's super worth the price. The review bombs are definitely annoying since most of these issues are either false or extremely misinformed; but there's also the entire rabbit hole of Epic Games which is more... complex. You see, a good bunch of people bought the game before it became a weekly free game on the Epic Store, mainly the chinese market since Tencent has been Inflexion's parent company since 2022, and when the game went free for a limited time on the Epic Games launcher it pissed off a good portion of the previous buyers; I'd be inclined to say 90% if not more of the mandarin negative reviews point this out. Problem is, this has also gone all the way to the western market as well... How do I know? Well, before I decided to purchase the game I asked about it on the official Discord server, and in a few minutes I received a DM from some guy telling me not to buy it and just wait until it goes free on Epic again. I personally wouldn't have minded having paid for this game for it to go free later since I'd be willing to pay even more just to support the devs, but I guess it's not so difficult to understand why some people got annoyed; just definitely not enough to justify a review bombing for a game that's so incredibly good yet criminally underrated. I'm deeply dissapointed that they decided to put this game on the back burner, it has a very good foundation to become a great game but after I heard that they were shifting thier resources towards Conan Exhiles remastered and basically didn't say anything about this for the last year.. then proceeded to not answer many questions that were raised after they let go both of thier community managers. I started to get that feeling when they were focusing on being able to colorise your clothing etc.. which TBH is such a waste of time in this part of the development cycle... get more content insted... The last Dev log they released on youtube confimed my fears as they mentioned putting this aside for now... BUT DON'T then proceed to say that this game wil always will be your flagship. It's a liitle slap in the face as this will now be considered abandoned.
I really enjoyed this game, i saw there was a update so i figured i would play it again and was excited. Just found out they removed the multiplayer aspect from it. Used to be able to goto The Watch "the hub" and join other players in boss fights and interact with other players, show off your gear. Now that they removed it i lost all will to play it. Slow updates, no plan to 1.0, moving backwards, sad to see.
Do you like survival/crafting games as a solo player? If so, give it a try and form your own opinion! I'm having a blast so far in Offline Mode. Adding a positive review for anyone reading during the 80% off sale.
After so long, this game still has huge ram leak issues. Unplayable : Still
I played the game originally when it first release and since then they did a FULL character wipe, that means 139 hours of work just gone put into the game. Apparently they have stopped development for the time being as well on the game for the time being so who knows if they will continue it or what will happen. But for now maybe consider it abandoned. I was thinking of returning to this game actually but after seeing all progress wiped it just totally turned me off from playing it.
In theory, I love this game. The setting is fantastic, the lore is deep, and it's the right amount of whimsy for the theme. That said, I physically cannot play it on anything but even the lowest settings. It's probably the most poorly optimized game I have ever played in my life. Whenever I go between realms it's a coin toss if the game crashes everything. I don't mean just crashing itself but crashing so hard I need to reboot my whole computer. I really do want to enjoy this game but it is literally unplayable in it's current state.

Do not trust a single review on here. I picked this up for $6 because I had heard relatively mixed things from the internet so i knew I wanted to try it because I loved Ark and love Fantasy esk genres, but I was not willing to spend on something was questionable. However, $6 is cheaper than a beer at the bar so no loss here. Now, This game does not hold your hand with what to do and the average gamer has the attention span of a goldfish so i get it. THAT BEING SAID, The achievement for doing what i believe is essentially the tutorial has only been completed by 22% of players. NOT EVEN A QUARTER OF THE PEOPLE WHO BOUGHT THIS WERE WILLING TO WALK TOWARDS THE OBJECTIVE. as of this review, I have 2.8 hours and I have done more than 78% of the player base.... Look, this game is in early access, as of this review, that comes with quirks, its not perfect, but it is Stunningly beautiful. It keeps me entertained enough to keep wanting to look for what else there is. That is kind of all I expect out of early access. If it gets better and releases, huzzah. If it does not, I still experienced what likely every other reviewer did not.
Was a fantastic concept until they put it on the backburner for Conan Exiles Remastered... dafuq? Waste of money at full price in its current state. I would only get this on sale, and with the understanding that this is likely now a dead game with mechanics that will never be finished. Such a disappointment.
