Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.14/day in the week to Sep 1 → 2.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The only combat encounter we've had in nearly 2 hours was extremely dull, and boiled down to me spamming left click and pressing Q (the quick-use button) once to instantly heal to full health. There was no combat tutorial so I'll never know if this was a suboptimal way to fight. Then we decided to build something, but no building block is unlocked by default. Known recipes are also not shared, which made me understand that the most optimal way to play the game is to only have one person in our group be able to build. 2 minutes away from being unable to receive an automated refund, this told me that the game is probably going to let us optimize the fun out of it. The introduction just does not bode well.
No idea how this game isn't more popular. Maybe it just had a really bad launch? So far, this game has greatly surpassed my expectations. Is it perfect? No. But it's easily a 4/5 for me and at its price point - especially if bought on sale - absolutely worth it. Finally a game that has some depth to gear, crafting, etc. It's not just a game on basic train tracks where everything is spoon fed to you. You have to actually put forth effort to learn its core systems and once you do, you realize that there's a bit of depth into everything and it becomes very rewarding to dive in. Game has fun exploration, challenging content (on Nightmare, at least), companion system, main story quest, side quests, bosses (some just like 'elite' enemies and others are scripted encounters with mechanics), lots of realms to explore, fun building, etc. For completionists, seems like this game easily has 100-300 hours of content. There definitely could be a few QOL improvements, like some easier inventory management controls (quick moving w/ like Ctrl+Click instead of Click+Drag), AoE auto dump items into all storage (instead of one storage at a time), farther range on crafting/building from storage, no hunger depletion or over-encumbrance while in your Respite Area, better Station Augment interface, etc. Overall though, the game comes with a ton of cool features I wouldn't have expected from such a poorly rated/unpopular game. The companion system is really cool (recruit companions from the realms to work at your estate or be your personal bodyguard with lots of controls), craft/build from storage (so many survival games don't have this still), lore depth, immersive environments with dynamic weather, great performance (other than the initial character creation - that was super laggy for some reason; compiling shaders in the background or something?), random encounter events, many dynamic realms to explore, deep crafting/gear system, fun to play either solo or co-op, haven't ran into any significant bugs, combat is pretty decent, etc. If you enjoy survival games and this game seems interesting, ignore the negative reviews and give it a try. The first 2 hours is a lot of fun and you'll probably be hooked. I hope the devs keep working on it and reach a solid 1.0 state and get a resurgence of players.

This game had so much promise, the devs seemed to really want to make a genuinely good game by the way they handled the launch. The original version of Nightingale wasn't very fun or intuitive to play but the devs have basically made a completely different game from where it was to where it is now. Unfortunately, there's a lot of friction against your progress in this game. Everything is extremely grindy and it gets old fast. Pair that with the fact the devs made exactly one post this year, this game seems to have been abandoned. It's a real shame, there's something really special buried underneath all the jank
The developers abandoned the game. F

I am writing a review because this game has a lot of potential and some really cool game dynamics. I haven't found any major problems, and have enjoyed it immensely. I really enjoy the way the realms can be very different from one another and I'm still learning to explore the world. I still have to finish the story, but for now I recommend it. Maybe get it when on sale since it's still pretty new.
feels half baked. and it's out already for two years... what a promising first trailer. what a letdown.
This game could have been incredible but unfortunately it has been abandoned by the devs and they have come out and admitted this, stating they were moving on. This game was recently given away for free on Epic Games and even then it couldn't keep up player numbers due to multiple issues in the game, some big, some small. The biggest thing that killed it IMO was the incredible lack of performance fixes. I'm running a mid to high end pc and it was STRUGGLING with FPS. From the day it was launched to the day they fully given up they never (or at least it never felt like) did anything to address optimization.
