This game is...interesting. Very good, but might not be for everyone. The story is pretty good. You might not get it at first, but keep playing. The music is easily among the best I've heard in a video game. The gameplay is...serviceable... Not impressive (I played this coming from Sekiro), but it'll keep you entertained. It's certainly on the cinematic side, but not like a moviegame. It also does lots of cool things like messing with game mechanics in interesting ways and 21 alternative "joke" endings. Some important things you should know: Don't ragequit if you get trolled by Broken [W]ings. Hard difficulty is 4x enemy damage. It's kinda silly, a random moose can oneshot you. Relevant to the above. I'd highly recommend playing with Japanese voices. The English voice acting isn't the best. The keyboard/mouse support is bad. This is one of the few games I pulled out a controller for as someone who uses kb/m for games like Dark Souls and Monster Hunter. There are mods to improve it. I got 100% achievements, so I'll mention the optional content. Be sure to get all 5 main endings. The alternative endings are worth checking out too, but use a guide. This game has sidequests that can be extremely tedious, so you could consider rushing the story. Some of the archives are worth the read
(specifically the Project Gestalt Reports)
. Oh, and there's an achievement for looking far enough up 2B's skirt.

Sometimes the story had a great pace, and other times it got a bit boring due to repetitive combat. But overall, it was a truly emotional journey. Everything comes to an end, and so did this, in its own beautiful way!
