"Everything that lives is designed to end. We are perpetually trapped in a never-ending spiral of life and death. Is this a curse? Or some kind of punishment? I often think about the god who blessed us with this cryptic puzzle... and wonder if we'll ever get the chance to kill him." so i'll be a little brief or i'll try to be, this game has an impact beyond being a simple video game, i think it has an impressive discovery about what you are or what you can be or what you can't be, there came a moment where I started to feel various things about the characters and the world, I even started to want to kill them all, just like 9s tries to do at the end, I'm not sure if it's because of my personality, or because the game forces you to think and reciprocate those thoughts, just to make sure you understood the message, why we live, why we exist, and why we have to fight? is it really necessary? is there another option? beyond dying? die for something or die for nothing? does your life have more meaning? or does your death have more meaning? you can give these answers or just leave them there and let everything be destroyed, i think the ending represents this even though everything is in vain or everything disappears one day the representation of what we can create is in this video game, create connections, or at the same time create nothing at all there are many things that are very limited but here it feels quite impressive how a game can call these dilemmas of why you have to move forward, or not move forward, despite everything negative or positive, i believe that the game itself presents you with the idea that you have the choice to create your own circumstances, your decisions, or what surrounds you from your experience, whether human, or as a robot, after all, you continue to exist, consciously or unconsciously, your life can have meaning or not. The game made me feel completely lonely, the world is a little empty, and i think that's what it means, that even though things are not the way you would like them to be, you can always have the will to choose what you want or what you can do. To change things or to change nothing the game made me feel insignificant, and yet it gave me the opportunity to have so much power and choice as i progress, without a doubt this video game is something beyond a video game, i highly recommend it if you are looking for all these answers that i mentioned before. there came a point where i considered playing the game on hard mode just to feel all this power and will and freedom of my choice, to feel important within a beautiful and empty world, that in personal experience. nier automata definitely deserves the renown it has, if you've never played it, you should at some point in the short life that all of us as humans have i waited more than 10 years just to play it, and i don't regret the long wait, it is a very impressive and inspiring video game, despite all the sadness or misery that comes with being human, android or machine. There is a question that resonates in my head that appears at the end and it is, why do I want something that no longer exists? maybe we understand that not everything has an answer

Se eu ganhasse 1 real por cada vez que eu bati punheta pra esse jogo, eu teria um total de 0 reais. Pois só consegui bater palmas para esse jogo maravilhoso
A life affirming speech on what it means to live disguising itself as a videogame. Every plot twist, every piece of the soundtrack, the gameplay that once you grasp, flows so satisfyingly had me unable to put the game down. And I'm so serious about this I was so hooked that I played this game for a grand total of 18 hours yesterday. I'm not proud of it but that's what summer break combined with NieR Automata does to you. I can't stress enough how good this game is, once I got ending E the whole experience felt like such a breath of fresh air. It's characters and world are amazing I'll miss it so much when I get employed. Also, 2B is insanely hot.
Everything that lives is designed to end. They are perpetually trapped in a never-ending spiral of life and death. However, life is all about the struggle within this cycle. That is what 'we' believe.
Thought was a gooner game with good gameplay, found out that it is a gooner game with good gameplay, but also a game that asks some of the most profound questions about existence and life. All in all, ended up crying and having an existential crises, after gooning ofc. Definitely recommend. Menu navigation and keyboard mouse controls could had been better tho. 9/10
游戏是好游戏但是没有中文,做个中文跟会死似的
Ashamed ive not played this sooner, genuinely what a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ masterpiece. Philosophical, does every genre it incorporates WELL, genuinely has you caring for the characters. also ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sometimes in a weirdly endearing way? play it NOW NOW NOW
So you finished Stellar Blade and found your way here because that game was a love letter to this one. But here's the thing, This is a far better and more mature game and the OST is made by the same legend *if you plan on playing with mnk checkout the steam guides, the mnk guide makes this game a lot better*
If you get bored on route A, try to not skip the rest of the game. It keeps getting better. Gem of a game even almost 10 years after release.
