Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.14/day in the week to Sep 14 → 0.4/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

First off, somehow the games soundsettings aren't perfect. The mainmenu doesn't get lowered volume, no matter which setting you use. Or the voicelines at the start of each battle, will always be too quiet, because it uses the same soundslider as the background music, which is way louder for some reason. Other than that I don't have any problems with the settings though! I played the game in Japanese to learn the language more, so the dialogue might not be entirely the same in english, but I loved it and think the story and characters are really nice. However, the combat in this game is kinda annoying. The fact that you share your HP with all your familiars doesn't really make me want to use different ones, I try to find the best one and just use that one. You do gotta change them sometimes if a fight takes too long, but I usually used that time to just heal up again if it was a tough opponent and switched back once they recharged a bit. The game does have some weird difficulty spikes aswell. Normal overworld encounters are already so weak that they flee from me, but randomly there will be quests or bosses that have enemies that just almost oneshot your entire team. I reduced the difficulty to easy after being unable to progress at a certain point in the story, just because I had already all the best gear, was overleveled and cleared all sidequests. Yet I still was unable to do anything to that story boss. Kinda disappointing to have this happen in an otherwise really nice story. I understand the last bosses and afterstory bosses being able to oneshot something if you fail to block or dodge, but having a boss do that before you even gain the ability to command your whole team to block with the click of a single button is kinda weird. After that I just kept playing on easy, so I did not encounter that problem again, but I suspect that some bosses will still be much stronger than they should randomly, as I found complains about just that after I encountered it and searched if I did something wrong. Some items you need to grind to craft certain items that aren't optional for sidequests are crazy hard to get. I farmed like 10 hours for the last quest of that kind.. that was the worst experience I had in this game. Overall I really liked the experience though and once you gain access to all abilities in battle it does feel much better than at the start of the game. It is a great story and the fact that there is an entire book filled with information, short stories and so on is a nice touch!

Cute story without getting cringe. Awesome pokemon style battle system. Great fun 9/10
If you like Dragon Quest and Harry Potter you'll probably like this game. Story feels like a combination of Harry Potter and Chronicles of Narnia. The people that made this game also made Dragon Quest 8, and the slower pace of the gameplay and general design feels a lot like Dragon Quest 8 and Dragon Quest 11 too from what I've seen of that game, though I haven't played 11 yet, I've only played 8. There's also an obvious influence from Pokemon in this too. Harry Potter + Narnia + Dragon Quest + Pokemon = Ni No Kuni. It's a good game, I like it a lot.
This Game is what Pokemon ZA could have been if it weren't for corporate greed
I lowkey fw Ni no Kuni. Enjoyed all the animation sequences and the music. Gameplay runs smooth on the Steam Deck and the visuals are cute. Art style and designs are well-done and whimsical. Combat system is easy to learn and switching around from characters to familiars can be fun. Main storyline is enjoyable and the Wizards Companion was a good read. I don’t like that healing mid-battle is mainly left up to the player since the AI companions are just not reliable as support. Fighting most enemies require little thought and when fighting bosses, the strategy is to babysit the party as Oliver and spam spells. Fighting and having the spell/trick you’re using interrupted because of a field attack is one of the most annoying things in the game. Errands that have to do with mending hearts are too simple and ones that have to do with finding stuff in the open map consist of spamming the interact button in a general location until finding the exact placement of the object. My personal rating for this game is a 7.5/10.
This charming, timeless action-RPG exudes the Studio Ghibli vibe and incorporates a coming-of-age story in an isekai setting. The mix of turn-based & real-time combat with creature collection also adds to its unique flavor. Two thumbs up 👍👍
