Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.14/day in the week to Sep 14 → 0.4/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I REALLY wanted to like this game... I love Studio Ghibli, I bought this game physically YEARS ago but never played it. Got the remaster for like 5$ or something... But anyway. The Plot was: OK (Very corny dialogue /characters /names The Music was: Good (though it got annoying real fast, due to the amount of back and forth you do in the game) This game... felt like it sucked out my will to live. That seems a little overboard but I honestly dreaded playing more of it. I tried to dedicate 1 day (about 6-8 hours) a week to this thing... and it took me over a year to complete! NOT because there was so much content, but because it was GRINDY AF and I literally didn't want to play it, and sometimes just skipped the day. x'D but I promised my chat I'd play it... so I did... It never got better... I literally switched from normal difficulty to easy half way through the game, JUST so it would hopefully go faster, with less grind, but that barely made a difference. I'm not new to RPGs, Grinding is not a new concept... but the amount you have to do in this game SUCKS. the combat system sucks the NPC players SUCK (they waste their MP WAY too fast and don't do what you assign them to do efficiently enough) the monsters are almost all uninteresting and worthless. re-leveling a new monster to maybe have an edge on the next boss is a slog and hardly worth the time. Nearly every boss I came across, I ended up fighting it by myself, cause the NPCs are garbage and die. Bringing out monsters, becomes worthless real quickly when you are a mage, and have more effective magic then your monsters do. by the end of the game I hardly ever if at all used my monsters. The crafting in the game is time consuming and hardly worth it. Gathering up necessary materials for items take more time than just grinding for money to buy the items do. The weapon crafting is a joke, getting the materials is a slog, you never know if the weapon your making is better than the one you already have until you make it. (and let me tell you. it rarely ever is, in fact it never was for me) by the time you get a recipe to craft, you have better gear then what it becomes. Overall: If you Like repetitive, boring, grinding games, with over complicated, bloated systems that aren't even necessary to use, with cute visuals, and decent music, you'll like this game. :P I on the other hand: Can't believe I waisted nearly 75 Hours of my life on this game.
I've had housemates watch me play this and ask me many time show I haven't grabbed some pliers and pull teeth each time I get into an encounter, but children, this is Pokemon, You catch creatures and use them in battle. Story is about as rivetting as any Pokemon game but keeps you engaged enough to keep going. I loved hamlin and I swear to god if this game goes down with Palworld in this pokemon legal ♥♥♥♥ that's going on, Mr Bowser is gonna be getting the Charlie Kirk Treatment
The music is unforgettable, the animation is cute and adorable, and somehow the charm makes you forgive the endless EXP farming. It's another monster-catching game where the material grind for alchemy materials nearly broke me. After the final achievement popped up, I finally called it quits, not minding to complete the bestiary; In my heart, I've done my best to clear it.
I lowkey fw Ni no Kuni. Enjoyed all the animation sequences and the music. Gameplay runs smooth on the Steam Deck and the visuals are cute. Art style and designs are well-done and whimsical. Combat system is easy to learn and switching around from characters to familiars can be fun. Main storyline is enjoyable and the Wizards Companion was a good read. I don’t like that healing mid-battle is mainly left up to the player since the AI companions are just not reliable as support. Fighting most enemies require little thought and when fighting bosses, the strategy is to babysit the party as Oliver and spam spells. Fighting and having the spell/trick you’re using interrupted because of a field attack is one of the most annoying things in the game. Errands that have to do with mending hearts are too simple and ones that have to do with finding stuff in the open map consist of spamming the interact button in a general location until finding the exact placement of the object. My personal rating for this game is a 7.5/10.
This Game is what Pokemon ZA could have been if it weren't for corporate greed
