Never Alone (Kisima Ingitchuna)

This game is artistically beautiful. No replayability but worth playing it on a full walkthrough

A fairly short game (3-4 hours) but I can say I’ve never played one like it before. The art work is wonderful. The controls on the Steam Deck are fantastic. The most unique aspect are the collectibles that are documentary/interview style that teach about the original legend. Would definitely recommend and I will absolutely be playing it again!

I have quite mixed feelings about this game. On one hand, the cultural depth is really good. You can truly feel the atmosphere of eternal ice and snow. The narrator speaks their native language, the cutscenes match traditional art, and the 24 short cultural documentaries immerse you even deeper. From this perspective, it is really well done. On the other hand, the gameplay and technical execution are very flawed: Technical Issues: I started playing on my laptop, and the snow rendering was so broken that I had to navigate some levels almost blindly. Thankfully, these visual bugs disappeared when I moved to a PC. Clunky Controls: As a platformer, it doesn't hold up. Characters constantly get stuck and miss jumps. Companion's AI is pretty bad, you will get killed because of its actions at least few times if you play solo. In the end, the game is interesting to experience but quite uncomfortable to play. Buy it for the story and atmosphere, not the game side of things.

A beautiful historical game, it's interesting to learn stories that happened to people. The game is well made, the quality is good and the gameplay is well done. It's a beautiful game. My rating for this game 10/10 I recommend this game.

如果你对因纽特人的文化有兴趣，这款游戏会是个不错的切入点，但是作为游戏本身实在是乏善可陈，尤其是小狐狸变成了幽灵之后，蹩脚的操作手感和平台交互简直是噩梦：移动手感飘忽，物件互动经常把握不好距离，单人玩切换角色特效很淡，到底是切了没有无法辨明，而一动就会导致死亡 而且又（我为什么又说了又？）出现这种本身操控做的稀烂还非得设计“紧张刺激”的追逐战的团队，真的很想球球这种文化艺术宣传类游戏，如果你们没有能力做好游戏的操控，那么就不要那么有野心，做好文化的部分就好了，不然在你们精心设计的影响下，原本对文化有兴趣的玩家也只会恼火得在通关完就马上关掉游戏。 PS：我是被商店宣传视频的音乐吸引来的，但是被骗了，游戏里大部分时间只有和游戏设计本身一样无趣的音效
