I had previously read that co-op wasn't great, but me and my gf enjoyed it! Puzzles aren't particular complex. I can't say it's as good as Day of the Tentacle (sequel to Maniac Mansion), but it was good enough. Recommend it, especially for only a couple of quid. If it stops loading after your first save, try changing your resolution down from 4k to 1920 1080. That fixed it for me.
永远怀念小学守在电视机前看游戏风云的日子。朝花夕拾很有意义
I cannot put into words how much I love this game. I played it a lot in my childhood on my old xbox and i was pleasantly surprised that it was available here on steam. Amazing story, the characters, aesthetics everything!! 10/10 game, way better than loads of the new games out now.
Played this as a kid a bit i'm really glad they had it on steam. It's a mix of dark humor and puzzle solving so if you like both you need to play this.
Great platformer with puzzle elements. Pick 2 of 5 characters and try to beat the game in different ways, depending on the characters selected. Each one have unique abilities which come in handy as game progresses. It was highly recommended and praised by many sites and it's still worth checking out especially if you like Trine, Unravel and such.
peak, but thats to be expected from the psychonauts devs
I've been playing this since the XBOX 360 days. I bought it for the 360, my old iMac, and now PC (probably a total of about $12). I wish wish wish they'd make a sequel. So good!!
could've been great or at least okay, but legendary game designer ron gilbert dropped the ball on this one. it's an adventure/platformer with some quirky characters doing their own thing, but only being able to carry a single item at a time makes everything incredibly tedious. (ignore my runtime, played it offline.) the other issue is each playthrough requires 3 characters, a'la maniac mansion, but there are 7 total, so if you want to experience all their stories (because that part is fine, almost double fine), the third run will offer very little new and it's not possible to skip anything. would be bad enough, but only about half the levels are character-specific, so even the second time will mostly be about repeating things.
An overall excellent point-n-click adventure puzzler that will probably get you hooked. The more I played it the more I found myself liking it. There are definitely a few cons that can discourage players during their first tries
(dying too easily in spots, a bit of difficult platforming sequences, being able to carry only one item at a time thus having to do a lot of back and forth, a few really unintuitive levels like the Time Traveler and/or Adventurer)
, but imho the pros outweigh them heavily. Absolutely loved the smooth animations, the audio, the graphics and the top notch voice acting from everyone involved. They really did a pro job in that department. Also enjoyed the level design and the way each individual quest was connected with the others. Reminded me of a giant maze! Just beware of what you expect going into the game when it comes to the puzzle department. Most of them are more like fetch quests, although you do have to put in some mental effort to combine the dots and realize what you have to do in each situation. It's not a pure puzzler per se. Another big plus is the huge replay factor, especially if you're into achievement hunting. One can only go through so many playthroughs before tiring, though, so don't hesitate to take a peek at a guide, since there are many missables. All in all, this is worth every penny. Easy recommendation.
