Ah, “make your own game” software... One of the [b]Steam[/b]'s biggest curses. Long story short – people buy such programs and begin to feel like those make them the proper developers. Who can, of course, make and sell games. Even though most of the time it's completely untrue. Remember [b]RPG Maker[/b]? Thanks to it, [b]Steam[/b] is literally drowning in a bottomless sea of short and poorly made [b]JRPG[/b]s. Thanks to [b]RPG Maker[/b] people can make such stuff in just a few days and, well... they do. This one isn't an [b]RPG Maker[/b] game, though. But the idea is pretty much the same. Here, on [b]Steam[/b], there's a program called [b]Game Guru[/b]. Which is basically an [b]RPG Maker[/b] for the [b]FPS[/b] genre. It was released in [b]2015[/b] and it comes with a lot of free assets. And that's where smartass, who made this game comes in.
Like I said, by using the default assets, the one can produce games in just a few days. Back in [b]October 2017[/b] the guy already made a “game” called [b]Terrorist Elimination[/b]. Which was basically a number of poor maps where you was supposed to kill a certain number of terrorists. The game was made with the default [b]Game Guru[/b] assets and barely even worked. Just because the “developer” didn't even know how to use [b]Game Guru[/b] properly. It felt exactly like school kid was trying to play with random “make your own game” software. Something you show to your friend and say “[i]Look, I made a game, LOL![/i]”, not something you sell for money. Now, in [b]January 2018[/b] that person made and released this one. [b]Nazi Elimination[/b]. And guess what? It's the same [i]exact[/i] thing. Only about Nazis. Again, we have the default [b]Game Guru[/b] assets (the guy didn't even try to hide the fact of that), number of poor maps and a certain number of enemies to kill. And again, the whole thing barely works. It doesn't even feel like “developer” wasted more than a single day (!) to make it. It's just something [i]you[/i] can make in like a few hours.
So, here's the idea... Go and buy [b]Game Guru[/b] instead. It's only [b]$20[/b], while this game is [b]$5[/b]. For [b]$20[/b] you can literally get such “game” every few hours. As for [b]Nazi Elimination[/b]... Expect [b]Alien Elimination[/b], [b]Orc Elimination[/b] and other “games” like that soon. Just because it looks like the creator of this... [i]stuff[/i] wants to get his [b]$20[/b] back by selling such quick scam games in [b]Steam[/b]. “[i]Hey, mom! I spent [b]$20[/b] from your credit card, but don't worry, I'll get them back soon![/i]”. That's how it works here. And like any scammer, the guy deserves only one thing – a contempt. Dixi.
