Mosaic is depressing, weird, and honestly kinda interesting. The art style is very different in a good way, and some of the clips are genuinely creepy in a way that fits the tone of the game. The whole experience has this bleak, uncomfortable atmosphere that definitely sticks with you. The BlipBlop side achievements felt unnecessary, but I get what they were going for. It was a decent challenge at first, but after a certain point.... there is absolutely no way I was doing that by hand unless I wanted to sacrifice my mouse or controller to the achievement gods and a week. Most of my “playtime” after finishing the actual game was just letting an auto-clicker doing the work. The main game itself only took about 7 hours, and the rest was the achievement cleanup. Overall, it’s a solid one-playthrough experience. I probably won’t replay it, because it’s very much one of those games, but I’m glad I played it. Decent experience overall. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for something new.
I ditched this game when I first got it, due to the extremely slow walking pace of the main character. It seems to be fixed now (or I am just older and more patient lol) — so I gave it another shot. And well...it's a game. It's not really exciting or deep or anything. The controls are a bit clunky from time to time, so that did take out quite the fun. While I do understand that the message of the game is something along the lines of — 'escape the hamster wheel', it just falls so flat. Thousands of unpaid bills just don't magically go away when you do end up quitting the job you hate. The ending is just so - meh. Minigames are also very boring. I don't know, this just did not hit the spot at all.
This is a narcotic, pointless ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. avoid

This game is probably considered divisive to many since the gameplay is intentionally repetitive and superficial, but to me that's what made the game work. The point is the repetition, how pointless it all feels, walking the same motions, another cog in the machine. The game captured me immediately, I found the look and feel so fascinating and wanted to know what the story had to offer. It's a slow burn but handled really well. I think the technical aspects like graphics and sound design kept it from feeling boring to me, I actually enjoyed the vibe! The point of the game is to find meaning in a cynical, monotonous world. To find the things that give meaning and color to your life. To break free of the cycle of the masses and make your happiness. And that's beautiful! And handled so extremely well, especially for an entirely silent narrative! Not a game for everyone but if anything I've said sounds interesting, give it a try!
True story. Reminds me when I was so depressed and devastated.
