Despite its many bugs, I found “Midnight’s Blessing” to be quite enjoyable adventure/JRPG game, with rather nice sceneries, interesting story, witty dialogues and at least one enticing character. The weakest point of the game is probably its combat system; combats can get incredibly grinding, and with bossfights it’s no exception that they can take as long as half an hour. But if you’ve got the patience, if you like this style of JRPG and have already finished Millennium and there is nothing similar around the corner, then Midnight’s Blessing is worth checking.
I had plenty of fun with this game and have played it a couple of times through. Perhaps in a few years, I will do it again. Good story and fun rpg.

Very fun and amazing / funny storyline!
This had an interesting premise, but lacks in map development, enough guidance for hints to figure out the next location of quests, and very unfriendly battle system. Some bosses are incredibly hard and make you wonder if there is a glitch. And in fact, I was unable to progress the game because I would kill Dracula first and the demon lives forever. And Dracula, without the sprite, is still able to attack my characters. When the battle goes on for 15 minutes with no hints of ending in an RPGmaker game, it counts as a glitch in my book. In fact there are a lot of glitches in this game, which I avoided a few by reloading save files, but I was unable to finish the game because of the final boss. Hope your next game is better.
The story drags forever, graphics look like a 90s demo, controls feel slippery as oil on glass. Yet the midnight moon does a disco and the tiny monster crumbs taste like carrot cake, oddly charming!
The overall idea is nice, but in the end, I couldn't figure out which direction to go or where to find the key object. I also found that searching for all the key objects made the endless battles quite tedious. In the end, I just gave up searching endlessly for the item I needed to do something near the organ. It became too frustrating to continue.
Far too much missing...
Midnight's Blessing is an adventure RPG with a nice plot, simple battle system, and maps that are nicely laid out. It's biggest flaw is the numerous bugs, which make the game impossible to complete in some circumstances. The premise of the story is that a young girl suddenly finds herself running away from home, at her mother's request, to avoid some kind of danger. She must explore the world, and uncover the truth about herself, and the spell that was placed on her as an infant. There are occult figures such as vampires, zombies, and werewolves. The plot is fairly well done, and there is a lot in terms of character development. In the dialogue, however, the main protagonist sometimes stands out as annoying (I am but a silly young girl in a big bad world), and the dialogue tends to run on unnecessarily. The maps are large, complex, and fun to explore. It takes a while to figure out how to get to where you're going, and in the meantime, you are rewarded with treasure with every wrong turn. The town maps are equally large, and are often overpopulated with NPCs, to the point where you may want to skip talking to everybody. The few side quests I found are confined to events within the town itself. Enemies appear on the map, and are a challenge to avoid. The battles are moderately complex. None of the characters are strong fighters, and all are better used for their special skills. Different enemies require different tactics, and often only one character is able to do significant damage, while the others can be used for status effects. Most battles take more than 3 rounds, and some take much longer. Based on other reviews and discussions, there are numerous bugs in the game. I got to a point late in the game where I needed an item that could only be found earlier, and there was no way to get that item. Furthermore, the game guide is a separate purchase, which is not a selling point, especially given all the issues with the game. I was not able to finish this game, so I can't give a thorough review of the story, but aside from the very major fault that blocked my completion of the game, it was a pretty good experience.
