You aren’t even a normal human. You are dead, but you have this dead ghost king spirit stuck inside you keeping you alive. And the funny part? The entire apocalypse is literally THAT ghost king’s fault. He made the rings and ruined the entire world. Then, this naked dork Gollum shows up to remind the ghost of his mess, and now the ugly green dorks are running the place. Awkward Cutscenes The cutscenes in this game are just weird. The humor is so forced and try-hard, you know what I mean? It just feels super awkward and out of place when you watch them. The Gameplay is a Massive Grind To do literally any main mission, you have to kill 4 chief dorks. But here is the catch: Each chief has like 35 bodyguards. You sweat your soul out trying to beat the boss. You finally kill him... but then you still have to fight the other 35 guys surrounding you! If one of those random 35 guys kills you, he gets promoted, gets a name, and acts like he's the boss next time. It's an endless loop of anger. Brain-Dead Controls Who in their right mind made these PC keybinds? SPACE to sprint?? SHIFT to crouch?? It makes absolutely no sense and ruins your muscle memory for any other game. Verdict: For €3 it's mhhh, should've bought food instead The intro is okay, but the story is super mid, and it doesn't keep you hooked at all. The weird cutscenes don't help either
Semplicemente noioso e ripetitivo, mappa open world tutta uguale senza nulla da esplorare. Marchia unn capitano uccidilo e ripeti il tutto x mille volte... Non giudico se ha l'atmosfera dei romanzi di Tolkien perchè non ho letto i libri ne visto i film....
Great Game, something like Assassins Creed playing in Middle Earth. Combat feels pretty satisfying in my opinion.
Excelente jogo! Excelente RPG do mundo de Tolkien. Historia interessante, vale a pena!
A very good and relaxing game, not only for LOTR fans, for everyone.
The Nemesis System is basically LinkedIn for Orcs. Every time they defeat you, they update their résumé and come back with a promotion and a new insult. Combat makes you feel like Batman until you accidentally miss one counter and suddenly you're getting slapped by 17 Orcs while Talion forgets he's supposed to be a legendary ranger. 10/10. Came to defeat Sauron's army. Ended up creating middle management.
Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor isn't an action-adventure game; it's the most violent and toxic HR management simulator ever conceived. You play as Talion, a guy who is literally too angry to die, sharing a body with a grumpy elf ghost who treats you like a miserable, unpaid intern. The core of the game is the Nemesis System, which is basically a cutthroat corporate restructuring program for Sauron’s forces. You don't save the world; you micro-manage middle-management Uruks. The pinnacle of gameplay consists of brainwashing a random green goblin who looks like a moldy potato, forcing him to become your corporate spy, and ordering him to assassinate his supervisor. It’s pure workplace hostility. The most humiliating part? Dying isn't a failure state; it’s a career advancement opportunity for the enemy. If you accidentally miss a button, roll off a cliff, and a random, nameless grunt hits you with a rusty stick, the game throws him a graduation party. He gets an immediate promotion, a legendary title, and becomes the Regional Director of the local fortress just because you sucked. And the next time you meet him, the game pauses just so he can deliver a beautifully rhymed monologue roasting your entire existence. Verdict: 10/10. A great way to realize that Sauron's invading army offers a much clearer career path and better upward mobility than the actual job market.
One of the best action games I've ever played. The Nemesis System is still unmatched, making every Orc captain feel unique and personal. Combat is smooth, stealth is satisfying, and the progression keeps you hooked from start to finish. Despite its age, the game still holds up remarkably well. If you're a fan of open-world action games or The Lord of the Rings, this is an absolute must-play. Highly recommended!
Feels very ubisoft-like, but it's fun and the story is great.
