In 2013 the world was devastated by an apocalyptic event, annihilating almost all mankind and turning the Earth's surface into a poisonous wasteland. A handful of survivors took refuge in the depths of the Moscow underground, and human civilization entered a new Dark Age. The year is 2033.

толко начал играт этот шедевр боже но у меня слабый ноутбук но все равно я получаую кайф боже словами не описать этот кайф прям как сталкер
Metro 2033 has a flawed, but still very interesting and unique story along with one of the most unique worlds I've ever seen in fiction. The levels in which you face human attackers are by far the best. Even though the game is linear you can take different approaches on how you deal with hostile humans; you can sneak past them altogether, you can knock out enemies, you can engage in a high octane gun fights, or you can stealthily pick off enemies one by one using the environment to your advantage. You are hardly ever stuck to just one course of action. Many levels also allow you to take different routes around the enemies, some I didn't even know about until I replayed those levels. Fighting off mutants in the game is also thrilling, but in most situations you are forced to go in guns blazing without the option for stealth or clever environmental hacking. Also, one type of mutant you frequently come across tend to feel very bullet spongey, especially if you are using any gun besides a shotgun. Even though this is a remaster of the original Metro 2033, the graphics are showing their age a little bit, but still add heavily to the grungy atmosphere of the game. Also, the English voice acting for the game can be a bit awkward at times. You could choose enable the Russian voice acting with English subtitles, but you will miss many background conversations with NPCS that add a lot to the world building. Overall Metro 2033 is not a perfect game and it shows its age in some aspects, but is still very much worth playing. The stealth gameplay is some of the best I've ever come across, the worldbuilding is fantastic, and this game offers a singular experience that perhaps no other game replicates.

Лучшая игра про пост апокалипсис
Apocalyptic, great gunplay although the game does have issues, the game has fixed checkpoints and chapters selection available, the game may close mid-play either while playing or from restarting from checkpoints, certain sections may bug out, enemy ai isn't the best but has many options to deal with them.

It’s a really good game with a great story. I suggest playing Metro: Last Light next, and Metro: Exodus after that.
strabiliante
this is such a peak game,i would recommend this as this aint your average fps game where you just kill mobs and then log off in metro, which is based off of a novel actually, you play in post-apocalyptic russia, where humans hide inside the metro, what seperates metro from any other fps game is its immersion, which is why id recommend ranger hardcore(as it removes ui and gud features, meaning you cant check your ammo, you dont get a crosshair and many more features are removed) which makes the game so much immersive as you dont really need any crosshairs or any other fancy features, its already present in the game in some form(like laser lights) the world has all these different people that have different ideologies, themes and ethenicities where not everyone is right or wrong people just adapt to the world and try to survive if your into story immersive games or new to fps games, trust jme youd love this
