I would have to say that this game is definitely up there in my top 5 favourite games that i have ever played

METAL GEAR RISING: REVENGEANCE is peak.
A true game made for the true masculine people. Wash away the anger and sorrow by slicing open your enemies and extracting their electrolytes. Ruthlessly dismember your enemies just to fight the true villain of the game every few minutes: the camera.

Memetic engineering (Story)
The story is almost as if it was cooked by Gordon Ramsay and the music by the best musician in the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ world. You will be in sheer shock at how great this game is, the euphoria is just mwah. I love killing my enemies ruthlessly as they scream for help, when I drive my HF Blade through their chest. Looking for a place to relax? KILL YOUR ENEMIES WITH ANGER!

Enemies
The enemies are kinda dumb, but where the game really shines is with armoured enemies. These put up quite the fight. Spoilers here (skip to the next chapter of this review if you don't want them): THE FIRST BOSS OF THE GAME IS LITERALLY THE TUTORIAL. Bosses are also incredibly hard depending on your difficulty, so learn the mechanics (wait a minute-)

Mechanics
The PC version of the game is incredibly underworked and janky, since Konami left it to rot. Even while hard to learn and master, I have become a god at parrying. There are also Zandatsu and many other types of attacks created by combinations of light attacks and heavy attacks.

Conclusion
Depending on the region, I heavily recommend buying this game if you enjoy euphoria and dismembering your enemies, or just a hard game (play on Hard, if that's it). This game has mentally disturbed me into becoming a clinically insane Metal Gear fan and I do not care, join us.
absolute peak cinema from the gameplay to the story and to the MEMES
Shing swing bing
One of the greatest hack and slash games, has its own sweet mechanisms, high replay value. The camera is the greatest foe here, but ill forgive it. It can also be a good comfort game. Canon or non-canon, it speaks for itself in Metal gear franchise, great to play as Gray Fox for me. You'll be spiked up with testosterone levels and almost everything you do will make you say hell yeah, the dialogues with their delivery, the designs- So Bada$$ especially the characters having their own purpose, dynamic battle themes and their MEMES to pass on! They don't make 'em like this anymore.
