Ah yes, Call of campers: modern claymore My wife’s boyfriend calls it Camp of Duty: Window Warfare This call of duty really makes you FEEL like you're being called for a duty. Happy to report there are still people telling me they "made love to my mother" in the voice chat like the original modern warfare. Which she usually enjoys so why wouldn't they tell me? Maybe they are just looking for feedback. I'll ask her next time. All jokes aside, this game makes you really FEEL like a Camper. It’s the CoD that made me even consider CoD as a game to have in rotation again. To me it’s up there with the OG trilogy. The level of detail in weapon and character models together with the slightly slower movement speed made me fall in love with it. All I wanted was an approachable, immersive, and realistic looking modern shooter. I’d become disassociated with call of duty for the previous 10 years. I didn’t care how balanced or how competitive the game was, I literally just wanted an impressive mindless game to drool at. I wasn’t let down. Hot take but for me it was the peak of the franchise. Best graphics, best audio, excellent selection of skins that didn't go too far in to the weird realm, super fun game modes (gunfight, especially the tournaments) and an s+ tier campaign. It brought me back to the series after leaving when they started introducing the hero shooter elements. I wish they would have stayed the course instead of whatever mw3 and the new black ops games are doing. The campaign felt like zero dark thirty on steroids and I loved every second of it. I've played pretty much every COD campaign ever made and this one is right up there as one of the best. That Piccadilly Circus level is unreal! So intense! I will say there are some levels that kind of drag and are not the same quality. I really disliked having to play as a little kid (I want to role play as a spec ops soldier, not a 8 year old hiding from the bad guys.) But other than that I think this campaign is one of the best of all time. The one level where you raid a terrorist house and go room to room is so epic! This is probably the most realistic and gritty COD while still keeping clean movement mechanics and fast paced run n gun style COD is known for. The game does have its quirks, it's not perfect, but the base experience is still a lot of fun, and COD should've kept building on top of it. It could have become one of the best, if someone with more than 3 functional brain cells handled the balancing and created some better maps. Overall for me what makes it stand out is the fact that unlike vanguard mwII and bo6 this game has soul. Every bit of the campaign, multiplayer, spec ops, all were oozing with charm, love, and personality. Little things like map Easter eggs, the ambient sound effects, the soundtrack, the story, all of it was amazing and when comparing it to something like bo6 the difference is night and day. I could keep going on, and on, and on but all this to say, this game was incredible! I highly recommend it, specially on sale. 9/10
PLAUGED WITH CHEATERS! I love this game but it's absolutely impossible to enjoy with the amount of cheaters.
Раніше я думав що ця гра перебільшує реальні події, але тепер розумію - применшує. Шикарна сюжетка, непогані спецоперації, відстійний мультиплеєр. З великою знижкою пройти сюжетку і побігати кооп те що треба.
Please don't buy this game, especially if you're influenced by pandemic era nostalgia or MW4 hype. The multiplayer is absolutely atrocious in its current state, you're punished for doing absolutely any type of movement or flanking, camping is the ultimate meta because footsteps are louder than every other sound in the game and TTK is insanely fast. If you somehow outplay the campers and get good k/d then SBMM screws you over by putting you in matches with sweats or cheaters. Speaking of cheaters, they're everywhere in this game. Gamemodes like domination or SND are completely unplayable because cheaters join and ruin everything with aimbot through walls. This game has kernel level AC but it's useless, it hasn't been updated in years, reports are ignored because Activision and the devs just move on to the next yearly release. If you buy this game because you see COD youtubers taking about the glory days on this game just stay away, buy the latest title if you really want some multiplayer COD action. You're better off just playing Campaign or Spec Ops with friends, for MP it ain't worth it, even on sale.
My very first ever call of duty in console. I played this game back in 2019. There were few hackers back then. Now, I'm revisiting this game on pc and I'm loving it. The graphics holds up for a 2019 game. Unfortunately the multiplayer is unplayable cause of the hackers. I still have all my skins and operators. My favorites are D-Day, Minotaur and Raines. All operators looks realistic. I give it a 8/10. Minus 2 cause of the unplayable multiplayer.
I played 5+ hours of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare mostly for the single-player experience, and honestly, the campaign was amazing. The story feels intense from start to finish, with cinematic missions, realistic gunfights, and strong characters that actually make you care about what’s happening. The graphics and sound design are top-tier — every mission feels like you’re inside an action movie. Some missions are tense and emotional, while others are full of pure chaos and adrenaline. The gameplay feels smooth, satisfying, and immersive the whole way through. Even after finishing the campaign, I replayed several missions because they were that memorable. If you enjoy story-driven military shooters with realistic combat and great atmosphere, this game is absolutely worth playing.
COD gave me this opportunity because I never leave negative reviews for any game
I downloaded it for the single player mode, but I was constantly hit with "Connection Failed - Can’t Connect to Online Services" error. I wasted about 2 hours just trying to launch the game. To make matters worse, while trying a recommended fix to reset my network, I spent nearly another hour trying to get my internet working again. Ultimately, I fixed the error, and you want to know how? By connecting to my phone's mobile data... Anyway, I was stubborn enough to keep trying and finally got in. But the stuttering is insane. Right when I’m getting immersed, the game drops frames. Changing weapons causes a drop, explosions cause a drop, cutscenes cause a drop, someone speaks cause a drop. I spent more time tweaking the settings than actually playing. The gameplay relies way too much on stealth and slow pacing. Where is all the run-and-gun action? I'm so tired of being glued to cover—if I take two steps forward, I die instantly.
They replaced the IDF with russian soldiers, game for true goyim
