Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition

I was HUGE into this series back on PS2. Back then when DMC4 came out I still found DMC3 peak. I didn't hate this game but some of the bosses are not great compared. Story is ok. Level design is meh also compared to the previous title. BUT, it's still a great DMC game. Gameplay is super fun and you get to see Nero's first appearance. I always thought this game could had been DMC5 levels if it wasn't rushed in development back when it came out. I'm still so happy we got a DMC5 after this. That game STILL is one of my all time favorite games ever.

Just so you know, the game doesn't start on modern systems and higher resolutions. As of yet, Capcom still hasn't fixed this issue, so you would need to download some additional stuff from the internet or rely on an older gaming setup. Big L for Capcom. Now for the game : it has very decent combat, a nice story, and very beautiful art style. In the second half of the game you will mostly replay the same missions and bosses but as Dante. The game was rushed, and it feels like some plot elements were changed at the last second to speed up the release, unfortunately. Overall, it is a solid Devil May Cry entry and definitely deserves your time.

dope game, terrible PC port. Had to spend a few hours researching just how to get it to be able to boot and the other various issues this port has, such as the super aggressive blur that covers your character like Vaseline. Would recommend, but not for PC

its good, and the combat is very fun, but because nowadays we have monitors that can go from 1080p to even 4k, when you first launch the game you need to install a few things which is annoying but it basically fixes the resolution and crashing problem. I downloaded Futa May Cry 4 SE just to test things around, and wehn I did play it I did enjoy my time even though for a while, sadly Dante cannot get impregnated.

First playthrough review time. As the fourth main game in the series, this title adds several new ideas while keeping the fast action the series is known for. The combat is smooth, easy to learn, and becomes better as more moves become available. The different attacks and combat options keep battles interesting, and there is a good amount of variety to make each fight feel different. The special edition includes several extra playable characters, and each one has a different approach to combat. Some are easy to learn, while others need more practice, which gives more options during gameplay. There are also extra modes and additional content outside the main campaign. The combat is the strongest part of the game and is the main reason the gameplay stays engaging throughout. I have attached a keyboard and mouse control guide for anyone planning to play the game with that setup. I completed the entire game using a keyboard and mouse, so it is completely playable without a controller once the controls are set up properly. Overall, this is a strong action game with a well-designed combat system. The different playable styles, smooth controls, and additional content give the game more variety. Okay, theres alot of bugs for some reason. I dont want to keep reinstalling, and trying to getting into the game. WHAT THE HELL IS THIS GAME'S PROBLEM. Every other DMC game ive tried to play, like DMC 5, and HD collection has worked perfectly fine. I get it, its a older game there might be a lot of bugs, but this is an underestimate. I am beyond angry. CAPCOM DO ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ BETTER YOU IDIOTS YOU EVEN HAD SO MANY OPPURNITIES TO TRY AND FIX IT. Plus, you have neglected DMC since teh start of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mankind littlerally what is wrong with you. i cant even fathom how peopel can run thsi game. i had to play this game on someone's eles computer. WHATEVER.

Do not buy this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bitchless game on modern hardware, I've genuinely never fought this hard just to get a game to work, only for it to still fail after many attempts. I spent almost an hour doing ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. 1. Ran Command Prompt scripts to manually inject 1080p resolutions and windowed mode because the internal configs are corrupted. 2. Modified file properties to force 640x480 resolutions and disabled fullscreen optimizations. 3. Read many community-patches executable file on Nexus mods just to stop it from opening to a pitch-black screen. 4. Gave the game full administrative privileges. 5. Manually disabled core rendering threads and forced frame caps via graphics software. The ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ prize was the main menu screen and the ability to click start game and load game then getting kicked out to the desktop. Worst optimization ever and don't waste your time.

This is one of the most infuriating games I have ever played. The combat is incredible, but it's bogged down by some of the most obnoxious, time-wasting, aneurysm-inducing, not remotely enjoyable enemies, levels and bosses in the whole series. I don't understand why Capcom has remade half the Resident Evil games while turning a blind eye to the fact that the gameplay of DMC 1, 2, and the majority of 4 has aged like milk left out on the surface of the sun for 1000 years.

最近圈子里i4tv有点多，我也来给个差评，更别说4SE做的简直一坨屎。在08 09年那个时间段，我在非常喜欢鬼泣3的前提下，为什么更愿意多玩忍龙2和魔女1，鬼泣4原版臭不可闻的实战体验可是立下了汗马功劳。后面新鬼泣刀锋魔女2无缝接轨，4代这所谓的练习成本和难度巨高但效果又不明显的段子编辑器就更是没有生存空间了。
