Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 16 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
Merchant 64 has a really charming N64-inspired style, but unfortunately the gameplay doesn't manage to keep things interesting for long. The idea of traveling around, buying goods and selling them for profit sounds fun, but the trading loop quickly becomes repetitive and never really evolves. The visuals and nostalgic atmosphere are definitely the highlight, but once the initial charm fades, there isn't much left to keep you engaged. A cute little retro adventure with a nice concept, but it feels too limited to be truly memorable.
Jogo fofinho e fácil que dá pra gastar umas duas ou três horas fazendo tudo, é gostoso :)
Just coming back to this after a while because I wanted to show my spouse and ramble about game design lol I love what's here and despite being 64 inspired it gets me in a gamecube mindset :)

it's a little grindy but perfectly fine for the price
If you're not a fan of slower paced grindy game I wouldn't recommend, BUT I LOVED this and trying to get all the endings is so fun!! The first time playing I thought I was gonna hate this game for being tedious, but wow I really enjoyed every interaction the further along I got! and its got replay ability if you like these kinds of games
I'm angry. The art in the game is pretty good. The idea behind the game is interesting. Unfortunately, the execution of the idea is quite boring. It consists of walking around and buying and selling, nothing else. I'll add another reason to my disappointment: I didn't get 100% of the achievements because once you enter the last town, you can't leave. When I finished the game, I realized that one achievement is to get $10,000, and I had to start the game over from the beginning. Another three hours doing the same thing? No, thank you. Seriously, it's a shame, but I can't recommend it.
Neat little game. Love graphics and vibes. Looking forward to more from this dev!
I recommend this if you like boring and repetitive games
Awful. Prices barely change, controls are bad, and the music is grating. It just isn't fun at all.
