Very light on gameplay, very repetitive for me. Great visuals tho
The game works fine, there's just no point where the games takes off and gets "really good." Feels like a polished student project. You essentially work up from nothing selling copper for $2 max. You try to buy it up from people who are selling it for $1, or look in trash cans. Then you unlock silver which ranges from$3-8, buy low sell high, and then unlock gold which is 9-15. There's no point where the game feels fun and is building towards something. There's a sparse amount of sound effects and like one main loop of a song that is generic. I'd recommend it to support indie devs, but it's kinda whatever. It's one of those games where once you get the main gameplay loop down you realize, "yeah I'm kinda tapped, I could finish the game but I just don't care."

I wanted to like this game because the art style is awesome, but it's not even a game. All it has going for itself is the art style. It kind of feels like the dev really wanted this to be something cool and ran out of energy, but still sold it. Not to mention, you can get all four endings at the same time. 3/10, really wish there was more to it. Cool art style, extremely unfinished.
EN: It's a visually pleasing game with repetitive but addictive gameplay, as you have to decide whether to sell your junk to this villager or keep it to sell it at a higher price to a merchant, while preventing others from stealing it. It's short, but worth its weight in gold.
Not worth your money, even for a buck unfortunately. Really boring, you walk from one town and buy and go to another one and sell. But there's also annoying hoops to jump through that will make you lose painstaking progress if not careful.
I enjoyed myself for what it was. The feel really brought me back to old school games. The gameplay was good but i wish it could have been expanded on a bit more, did get slightly repetitve. Pretty damn good for a first game though excited to see whats next for this dev.
Art style is great, but the gameplay is painful, repetitive and grindy. The NPCs truly feel like NPCs as they basically all repeat the same thing, minus a few that are pointless to interact with after the first time. I can't bring myself to give it another shot.
Merchant 64 has a really charming N64-inspired style, but unfortunately the gameplay doesn't manage to keep things interesting for long. The idea of traveling around, buying goods and selling them for profit sounds fun, but the trading loop quickly becomes repetitive and never really evolves. The visuals and nostalgic atmosphere are definitely the highlight, but once the initial charm fades, there isn't much left to keep you engaged. A cute little retro adventure with a nice concept, but it feels too limited to be truly memorable.
Very short and charming grind game where you sell low and buy high while evaluating whether to sleep outside or you carry too much to risk getting robbed. Good for mindless playing while listening to some podcast or something, especially if you got it off sale. The UI part could use some more polish and convenience improvements for that price.
2h achievement gave me a chuckle
Do I recommend this game? NO (other reviewers already went in depth on why so read those) Did I still get hooked and addicted to this dumb repetitive game? Yes.
