Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

WHAT AM I FIGHTING FORRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
Joyita

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 17: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

great game!
Mega Man X is peak, 1st game is my favorite.
The first 4 entries of the Mega Man X series range from okay to great. I would say X1 and X4 are the highlights while X3 is the low point. X1 has relatively minimal backtracking, pretty solid stage design, amazing music, and is overall just a fun game. X2 is a step down but is still a mostly alright game aside from the X Hunter mechanic (and a decent amout of backtracking). I really was not a fan of how the X Hunters work in this game and I would definitely research them so you don't accidentally permanently despawn one of them and lock yourself out of the good ending. X3 is my least favorite in the collection, but I don't think I'd say it's bad per se. What this game really suffers from is how incompatible the upgrades are with the weakness order. Most Mega Man X games usually require a little bit of backtracking to get a couple upgrades if you're following weakness order. But in X3, you basically have to choose either weakness order or upgrade order. I did manage to find a middle ground doing weakness order where I had to make two temporary detours where I went to get two essential upgrades in two different levels and died and went back to stage select after getting them to reduce some of the backtracking, but even then the backtracking in this game is atrocious if doing the weakness order. Also just has some annoying level design quirks here and there as well. If there's any game in this collection I would consider skipping, it would be X3, but it's not a horrible game per se, so might still be worth a shot if you really like these games. X4 is a great game, both as X and Zero, and somehow has even less backtracking than X1. I would definitely say bosses are easier as X while stages are easier as Zero, but both campaigns are very much worth playing. Aside from a couple really difficult jumps/hazards to get to certain upgrades in X's campaign, the level design here is just really good. Not the biggest fan of reducing the amount of Sub Tanks from 4 to 2, but it didn't end up being a huge problem for most of my experience. Overall X4 is definitely worth a play and I would say at least most, if not all, of this collection is worth playing!
English: I first saw Mega Man X at a friend’s house around 1995‑1996, and it was love at first sight. From that moment, I was hooked. I still remember playing it at school during computer classes, swapping those little floppy disks — pure nostalgia. This game is pure adrenaline: fast‑paced action, unforgettable music, and a difficulty that keeps you on edge. Many consider it one of the hardest classics ever made, but to me, it’s simply perfect. I give it a 10/10 for its story, gameplay, and timeless legacy.
