Mega Man Legacy Collection
Also mit meinem xBox Controller. Also im Hauptmenü auswählbar.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 13: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Despite the punishing platforming and bad overall hitboxes (often way too big). It's honestly pretty fun! Since there are 6 games in this bundle, I will give a short review for each and then rank them per category. Do keep in mind I am reviewing them in order, not comparing each others in general but the experience and feel by playing them in order.
MM1
Definitely looks like a low budget arcade game, made to kill you easily and reset the level until you figure out the optimal pathing.
MM2
Much more polished overall than MM1, music, level design, variety is better. A bit too easy but definitely fun. Clearly of higher budget.
MM3
Punishing platforming, Bosses are more creative but require their weakness weapon or else will be brutal to beat.
MM4
About on the same level as MM3, however the menu to change weapon is much slower, same as when you get in a boss room, it's the only one who's much slower than the others, probably a lack of optimization?
MM5
More fun than MM3-4. Bosses aren't creative but the overall feel of the game is more fun than MM3-4.
MM6
Most fun overall, fun and creative level design, bosses are uninspired and too easy, multiple traps, great soundtrack overall.
MM6>MM2>MM5>MM3-MM4>MM1

Best of
Level design : MM6 OST: MM6 Creativity : MM6 Entry point: MM2,MM6,MM5 Bosses: MM3
Most of
Fun: MM6,MM2 Platforming difficulty : MM1,MM3 Punishing : MM1,MM3 Trial and error: MM1 (because of punishing design) Flashing lights: MM2 Willy's castle bosses (way too much, it's an eye sore) Bad hitboxes: MM1,MM3,MM4 (lots are much bigger than they look, very punishing) Leaderboards are broken, lots of them shows the completely wrong replay.
I'm really bad at Mega Man.
If you are sensitive to input delay, skip this or buy on a deep sale like I did. The games are legendary, but the effort for this collection was poor. My inputs are getting "eaten" quite a bit, leaving me often times facing the wrong direction, missing easy jumps, and missing shots while in the air. And this is on a monitor with high performance settings and VSync off. I've beaten the first 3 games so far and intend to complete 4-6 but idk if i'll replay them with the input delay. But if delay doesn't bother you then I highly recommend it!
If you're looking for perfect emulation then this won't be what you're looking for but this collection is more than serviceable to play the first 6 games. Still, I feel this should get an update to remove that slight input delay and add integer scaling. As for the games themselves, megaman 1 & 2 are outright painful to play but 3 onwards is when the series gets actually fun

It's the NES Megaman games in a collection. Developed by Digital Eclipse (who do a lot of game collections), the project was only aimed at the NES part of the series. Given it's success, Capcom would develop a 'volume 2' to the collection in-house and release it 2 years later. Volume 2 includes games 7-10. The games are emulated perfectly, and include a rewind feature in case you die. As well as save states. There's some extras as well: galleries and 'challenges'. Can't complain, but also not a lot to talk about either. It's easy emulating these games, but this is a nice and convenient package. My only complaint is that I would've wished it would bring more in the extras department. Original game manuals would've been nice. Maybe old TV ads. Perhaps some of the old remakes, like the Sega Genesis' 'Wily Wars'. Or the remade music for the 'Rockman Complete Works' ports on the PSX. As for the games themselves, you know what to expect. Everyone knows what Megaman's about, but I'll give each game a brief run down anyway:

Megaman 1: The first game in the series, which introduced some novel game ideas. Like choosing what order to play stages in, and permanent weapon power-ups from bosses. Capcom's first game developed specifically for consoles. It deserves a lot of credit, but it's also unnecessarily difficult.
Megaman 2: Direct improvement, and easier (no matter the difficulty you choose). E-Tanks introduced for full health refills as long as you have at least one in stock. Visually the game is a big upgrade, with more unique looking stages because of it. Stages have unique gimmicks, more-so than before. And the weapons are more useful. I'd argue this is the 'true' start of the series.
Megaman 3: Another upgrade in the visual department. The slide is introduced, as is Rush the companion dog. I'd say the music is even better. The game is bigger; you get the typical wily stages and 8 robot masters, but you also get stages in between those two segments where you fight the bosses from MM2 (sort of). You also get a recurring boss in the form of Protoman. I consider it better than 2.
Megaman 4: The new addition is the Mega Buster, which allows Megaman to charge his shots. Not a big deal, but a staple of the franchise. A few levels have short branching paths that lead to valuables, which is a note-worthy design choice that would be expanded upon in MMX. From here on there's not too much to say in the NES entries since they're solid games, but don't drastically change the formula. Only other thing to note is that the music is decent, but not as catchy as before.
Megaman 5: Beat is introduced, the less popular robot companion of Megaman. As is the M Tank, which restores health and weapon ammo. The music is a huge step up from 4. Perhaps not on the level of 3, but it's getting back up there. Visually it's yet another step up. And I think the levels are also better than the previous entry due to more gimmicks in them. There are a few branching paths and hidden rooms here, as in 4. All that said, it is at this point the least innovative game in the franchise.
Megaman 6: The final NES Megaman game, and the last one in this collection. Originally it wasn't going to make it to the US, since the SNES was already 3 years old and MMX was already on store shelves. But Nintendo thankfully published it, and we closed out the first six games on a visually stunning note. Suit powerups are introduced, one allowing Megaman to throw powerful short range shots (after charging) and another allowing him to temporarily hover. The hover is a nice way of balancing the Rush jet power-up from previous games, which was either busted or merely 'ok'. Some levels have expanded branching paths, which require the suits (and backtracking if you don't have them yet). The series closes out strongly, but I actually preferred 5 since I didn't feel like the stage gimmicks here were all that strong.
It's a solid collection of games that sells itself on the name and legacy alone. You could even say there's historical importance here. The games are extremely old by today, but they are simple enough that they remain enjoyable. I'd also say the games are musically significant, as they are stand-out 8-bit soundtracks. Influential in anyone attempting to replicate the sound. With save states and a rewind feature anyone can pass these games with enough patience. There's no reason not to have played through them at least once. My only complaints are that I wish the extras were beefier. Perhaps it's asking for too much, but some interviews would've been nice. Old booklets. Really treat it like the historically important franchise that it is.
Compared to the other Megaman ports on PC and just basic emulation in general. This repackage is a subpar experience for the price point I bought it at. The games are classics, but the port itself is very lackluster.
I feel like copy-pasting my review for Mega Man X Legacy Collection. These are great games, but the port is really bad. It has the same issues, including input lag, sprite-tearing, etc. Yes, these problems existed in the original games, but ports should fix these problems, not copy them. And again, I have zero hope Capcom will ever fix these problems.
