Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.86/day in the week to Aug 24 → 2.57/day in the week after.

Original X was fantastic and everyone should play it. This however is a complete joke. If it decides to launch you will find yourself playing a game with horribly mapped keys that cannot be changed. I dont know why CAPCOM decided to lock keyboard controls into those that early 2000 flash games used, but they sucked on those games and they suck even more for this game as it is more demanding. Who uses arrow keys to move even in 2018? Space pauses and doesn't jump!?! Space is for jump, it just is. Good luck rewiring your brain to NOT use space to jump.
A nostalgic, challenging, must-own classic action collection
This collection is packed with value from start to finish. The soundtrack alone makes it worth picking up, with X and X4 delivering some genuinely timeless, legendary tracks that are still every bit as good as when I was a kid. X2 and X3 bring the challenge factor in a big way too, and there's a real sense of satisfaction in pushing through some of those tougher stages and boss fights. For anyone who wants a bit of a more casual stroll down memory lane or a lower bar to entry for players new to the series, there's also a Rookie Hunter mode included. The bonus content is where this collection really shines. X Challenge is a fantastic addition, taking the boss rush concept and spicing it up by mixing bosses from different games and throwing two at you at once. It's a great way to test everything you've learned across the four games. Beyond that, the extras like the merchandise gallery, the art gallery, and the music gallery are a nice touch, giving you plenty to browse through if you want to soak in the history of the series a bit more. Ranking the four games against each other, X4 comes out on top for me, though I'll admit nostalgia plays a huge role in that since it was my first MMX game. Beyond the sentimental value, the level designs are smooth, the FMVs are a fun addition for the storytelling despite the wonderfully terrible English voice acting, and having both X and Zero fully playable gives you two distinct experiences to enjoy. The music and bosses are memorable too, which only adds to the case for it being my favorite. The original X follows right behind, hitting a lot of those same high notes minus the FMVs and playable Zero, with nostalgia being the main thing separating the two for me. X2 and X3 fall a bit further back, with a noticeable dip in music quality, a bit less forgiving difficulty curve, and bosses and stages that just don't stick with me the same way. Still, both are solid games in their own right. Even having now beaten all four mainline games, I can see myself coming back to this collection down the road. These games have that kind of staying power that makes the replay scratch worth the nostalgia itch.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 17: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Just finished X1-8 for the first time. I can't believe I missed out on such a fun series! I definitely see why it is so beloved.
De los 4 primeros juegos, aquí está mi top: 1° Mega Man X4 2° Mega Man X 3° Mega Man X3 4° Mega Man X2
Genuinely unbearable, This game feels like its running in molasses. I KNOW these games did not run at 20 FPS back in the day. X4 is especially egregious being a PS1 game, should be no problem to port, but this collection was such a let down, You are better off emulating these games yourself on versions that patch the games up and make them feel like what this collection should be.
Don't the the "unsupported" tag fool you. Runs fine on Steam Deck except for some FMVs in X4.
