Even though Act 1 sets up the story, I wish it was on the same level as Act 2 and 3. The second and third acts made this game worth it. I wish the Sinister Six featured the original Marvel Comics villains. I didn't know about Mr. Negative before playing, so his in-game dynamics and character design definitely took a while to get used to.

Hey this game is pretty great. I should get the last 3 achievements I missed. Maybe I'll do the max difficulty playthrough.
fun game. Combat is interactive, varied and fun, and swinging feels great. One of the few games where I'll sometimes choose not to fast travel just so I can swing around. The combat has a lot of variation and has a lot of tools, and mix-ups you can use. Missions, side-missions, and all that are all the same, and probably the "worst" part of this game, although they're fine. They're simple follow X, or sneakily take out these guys, or beat up these guys. There is also a small puzzle portion of the game which is fine and brings a nice break to all the action you do. Story-wise it's fine too, but it's not its strong point.
