Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.14/day in the week to Jul 30 → 1/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Despite the terrible controls and questionable level design choices all around, it's a fun game. The collectibles can be a real pain when doing a blind completionist run, because the developers seem to have put literally zero thought into them. For example, you happen to come across a challenge. You start it right away, only to be hit with a 30 second timer to paint three tags or some ♥♥♥♥ while enemies are around. You fail because it's simply not doable. So you restart the level, clear out the area beforehand, and then do the challenge. Very nice. The next time you come across a challenge, you do the same thing. But while scouting ahead, you go through the wrong door, and it closes behind you, locking you out of the area and forcing you to restart the level. It's a gamble every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ time. This made me rage quit and uninstall the game the first time around. The level design is exceedingly frustrating. Only after coming to terms with not getting all the collectibles was I able to finally finish the game. TLDR: If you like older games, don't care about collectibles, and don't mind janky controls, you'll most likely have a good time.
Una remasterizacion o el dos.

Marc Ecko's Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure - одна из тех игр, которые сложно с чем-то сравнить. The Notorious B.I.G. - "Who Shot Ya?", который специально для игры сделал Серж Танкян из System of a Down. 10/10. Still free. --- An absolute legend among legends. Marc Ecko's Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure is one of those games that is genuinely hard to compare to anything else. It came out back in 2006, yet even twenty years later it still feels more original than a huge number of modern games. It immediately makes me think of that classic old-man line: "They just don't make games like they used to... before all your grind towers and loot boxes." The main reason I love it is the completely unique gameplay. Where else do you get to climb buildings like you're in Prince of Persia, fight other writers, run from the CCK, and turn the city into your own canvas through a graffiti system that still feels unlike anything else? Back in the day, this game inspired me, as a dumb little kid, to go buy a few spray cans and ruin more than a few walls around my hometown. I wouldn't be surprised if some people who discovered Getting Up as kids later went on to seriously pursue graffiti, art, or design. All of this is wrapped in a dystopian story about total control, censorship, and resistance against the system. It has a government trying to take control of the city, friendship, betrayal, and even a romantic subplot that never really gets properly developed. Yes, the story can be a little naive at times, but that is part of its charm. It feels very much like a story from the 2000s, back when a game could be dramatic, serious, slightly teenage, and completely sincere all at once. The visual style deserves a separate mention. For a 2006 game, Getting Up looked great, but more importantly, it had a strong identity of its own. New Radius feels dirty, oppressive, sometimes genuinely bleak, and at the same time incredibly stylish. Abandoned districts, subway tunnels, rooftops, industrial areas, massive government propaganda covering the walls - everything contributes to the atmosphere. Of course, it also comes with a few artifacts of its era. The camera occasionally decides that it is the true final boss, especially during platforming and fights. And the Russian dub by Akella... let's just say that it has become a cultural artifact of the 2000s in its own right. Some lines sound so bizarre that, twenty years later, it's hard to tell whether they are bad or somehow brilliant now. The legendary Train line "MAYA PLAKHAYA!" alone is worth mentioning. But neither the camera nor the voice acting comes close to outweighing everything the game does right. And then there is the music. No contest here. For me, this is one of the best video game soundtracks ever made. Possibly the best. I honestly can't think of many other games where the OST fits the atmosphere this perfectly. You hear certain tracks twenty years later and you're instantly transported back to New Radius. I'm convinced every Getting Up fan has their own playlist of favorite tracks. Just look at the remix of The Notorious B.I.G.'s "Who Shot Ya?" made specifically for the game by Serj Tankian of System of a Down. One genius remixing another genius, and somehow the result became a masterpiece of its own. This time, I decided to replay this classic on Steam for a completely normal reason: I launched it just to see what a 2006 game would look like with NR DLSS 5. And then, as usual, "I'll just check it out for five minutes" turned into another full playthrough. This is my favorite game ever. And probably the best proof of how unique it is is the fact that, twenty years later, there is still nothing quite like it. You can find games about parkour. You can find games about graffiti. You can find games about street culture or fighting the system. But nobody ever made another Getting Up. I really hope that one day Marc Ecko decides to make a sequel, or at least continue this story somehow. Hell, at this point I'd gladly take a proper remaster of this masterpiece. But unfortunately, there has been nothing since 2013. 10/10. Still free.
