Really wish this had Duelist Of The Roses and Tag Force games

Honestly, not a bad collection. Not a great one though either, and I will explain why. Bought it to enjoy the OG Yu-gi-oh experience before I truly got into the game. I really just have three complaints. The first one is obvious and let's get it out of the way. The price. No, this bundle is not worth it at full price. I am in no way going to defend this horrid price gouging. I only swallowed my pride and gave in so I could experience it at face value and give an honest opinion. And I have to say; the games are fun to mess around with, but even with all of them together, it is not worth it at the asking price, as only a few games are actually worth a full playthrough. The rest are a fun experience, as it is cool to look back on what Yu-gi-oh games started as and how different they are now, but a lot of them are just not fun and frustrating. And at this price? Not worth it in my personal opinion. And don't get me started on the online. Only a few games support online, and on top of that, the ones that do have no players or run like garbage? And you're asking for $50? Secondly, the controls. They could be worse, but they are not great either. Ramming your head into the wall like a bumbling ape until you develop the muscle memory to ease through the games is required and will take a few hours at least. Not a major complaint from me as I can enjoy a game's terrible controls if it is fun enough to deal with. And finally, the lack of games. One would think there is a lot included in this selection. And to an extent you are right. But if you take a closer look, you would realize what I did a few hours in, and that this assumption is not entirely accurate. Not wrong, but not really true either. Most of the games are the same game and gameplay, just repackaged with new cards and rules as they came out. And the rest are spin offs or were the first of their kind and very experimental. A few games are worth a playthrough, but do not have much replay value if you are not the kind of person to choose cards other than your favorites or the best every playthrough. Plus, this bundle does not include some of the best old school Yu-gi-oh games I wanted from a release like this. Sure, the OG Gameboy games are fun to look back on, but not worth it at this price. I was hoping for this bundle to have Capsule Monsters Colosseum and Duelist of the Roses, two of my favorite Yu-gi-oh games I had access to growing up. To see that they are not in here is a real disappointment, as it seems like an emulator or digging out your old PS2 that probably doesn't run all that well anymore is the only way to replay those amazing and niche cult classics that I wish got a sequel. TLDR? Cool to play with, but not enough repayable content to justify the price. 6/10, though if I was not such an avid Yu-gi-oh fan, I would rate it even lower. On sale though? 7 or 8 out of 10, depending on the price you get it at. The cheaper the better. I am enjoying it enough to recommend it. BUT, and pay attention to this, buy it on sale or don't buy it at all. If you want to play a specific game, like Eternal Soul, just get an emulator, or wait until it is at least 25% off. for 50 DOLLARS? no. for 15 dollars. it's fine

An extremely overpriced collection containing generally the weakest and worst Yu-Gi-Oh games. Sacred Cards and Reshef of destruction are probably the only genuinely good games (Reshelf only if you turn on some of the built in cheats to bypass the ridiculous unfair difficulty). The rest of the collection ranges from "fine but later instalments did it much better" to several forms of digital torture. At full price this collection is a scam, it should be £20 full price at max and it'd still say either just emulate Sacred Cards and Reshelf or wait for a 50% or more sale.

Eternal Duelists Soul GOTY Feels like I'm 10 again <3 What a mind-warp. Gimme a heart or something if you're an old schooler still playing this kinda stuff! Feels lonely, sometimes... :'(

I love this pack; it lets me experience games that I never got to as a kid. Makes me want a remaster of games like Duelists of the the Roses and Capsule Monster Coliseum. Maybe as another throwback pack?

It just isn't the same man, the controls just ain't it. Just get a Gameboy / Gameboy advance, it's just not suited for PC's. Also no full official screen mode, you're still limited by a lot of your monitors ratio if it's high. Nostlagia is cruel.

I am thrilled that we finally got some titles that were never available in the USA prior with the addition of online multiplayer. Dungeon Dice Monsters being one of those titles has made this collection worth it to me and I've been having trouble putting it down. If you enjoy strategy games with methodical decision making you'll probably enjoy Dungeon Dice Monsters. The Eternal Duelist Soul is fun and also has a lot of replay value. If you are confused as to how you're supposed to play any of the games in the save state screen there is an option to view the instruction booklet for each game. Haven't tried the other titles just yet but I am more than satisfied with the value I have gotten from this collection so far.
