Couldnt even get to 40 hours in this game, big fan of the extraction shooter genre but this game punishes solo players. Back to tarkov.

Probably the best extraction shooter. I have a group I play with consistently, though. I could see this being rough if you don't have friends to run with. Randos tend to not know the etiquette (e.g. don't matchmake high threat zones with free kits) and not be receptive to being told this. One thing I will say that makes Marathon stand out to me is that there's an actual progression to the gameplay. On a week to week level, I look to gather the gear I'll need to run Cryo on the weekend for the big loot. On a season level, I've gone from struggling to run green kits to having the upgrades I need to reliably barter salvage for blue kits without sweating at all about the cost. Purple kits I get for very cheap salvage once a day, and I have backlog where losing all my ♥♥♥♥ on a run no longer feels catastrophic; I'm just right back into the game in like three minutes. Eventually I'll be doing the endgame stuff, like Cryo Gold Keys and Compiler Runs using all my cryo loot. It's fun.

Love it, can't wait to explore more or it, sadly a bit turned off by the extraction timer being way too short but hey, Amazing Sound Quality Insane World Lots of Talented Players Very Immersive Story-Driven and the pro's list goes on !! Shame I were playing with a crappy cpu at the time, and when I bought it I just couldn't launch it due to the lack of AVX2 on my older cpu but people should really give this a chance !! Also ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, there's a voice channel people !! Use it please !!

First off, great art style. Secondly the game to game gameplay is fun, its challenging at times but also has a great community that works together on quests and objectives. Overall a great experience.

Been Playing Arc Raiders and I love this refreshing change. I suck at PvP and still love the challenge. I hope Bungie is able to turn their ship around and make Marathon an even better game with a bigger audience.

I enjoy the game very much

This game is hard to pick up. I'm still not great, but I'd say I'm at least fairly good. Once you get into it, though, It's REALLY fun. And yeah, it had some flaws development-wise, BUT do we hate the DOOM Eternal soundtrack because Mick Gordon wasn't treated great? No. We love it. Don't let poor decisions by devs get in the way of playing a fun game. If you don't want to further support, just don't buy the battle pass. That simple. Don't let the haters of this game stop you either. Try it for yourself. Highly recommended, because the game is peak as hell.

Un muy buen juego, la verdad lo disfruto mucho los aspectos como el lore, el arte y el gameplay. Claro existen matices, sobre todo si hablamos de shooters de extracción ya que como cualquiera, el juego premia mucho un meta en armas y personajes. Sin embargo si juegas como se te da la gana la verdad es posible hacerse muy competente en el juego sin aburrirte con videos de "cómo jugar". Otro aspecto que resalté es el lore, que es exquisito, una historia grandiosa aunque demasiado enrevesada y oculta como para que la puedas disfrutar si solo juegas de manera casual, ya que se esconde detras de items, misiones y el ambiente de los mapas. A mi parecer un juego muy bueno y decente, pero que tuvo muy mal timing a la hora de salir, un juego en constante ascenso y la verdad no dudaria en volver a comprarlo.
