Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 14 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Wales Interactive brings its award-winning survival horror to life in Maid of Sker VR.
Step inside Sker Hotel, a remote estate steeped in Welsh folklore, unsettling history, and the twisted legacy of the Williams family. With only a handheld sound device to defend yourself, you must stay hidden, stay silent, and use every shadow to survive the cult that hunts by sound.
Brave the nightmares of the Quiet Ones. Do not panic… don’t even breathe! Set in 1898 and inspired by the haunting Welsh tale of Elisabeth Williams, this is a story of a family empire driven by torture, slavery, piracy and a supernatural mystery that suffocates the grounds of the hotel.
Stay Quiet to Stay Alive
Experience the Quiet Ones in terrifying proximity as they patrol, search and charge based on the sounds your character makes.
Manage breathing and movement to stay hidden. Heavy breathing, rushing footsteps and panicked noise can attract danger.
Use the Phonic Modulator to stun enemies without killing them. A well timed blast buys precious seconds to escape or reach safety.
Hands On VR Horror
Operate the Phonic Modulator by hand with manual firing and reloading.
Interact with the hotel using natural VR actions: open doors, use puzzle mechanisms, pick up notes, collect dolls and examine key objects.
A realistic 1898 setting presented at human scale, with detailed interiors and close quarter tension.
A Welsh Folklore Nightmare
A narrative inspired by the Welsh tale of Elisabeth Williams and the disturbing history surrounding the Sker Hotel estate.
Reimagined Welsh hymns Calon Lân, Suo Gân and Ar Hyd Y Nos performed by Tia Kalmaru, as featured in the original game.
Multiple endings shaped by your exploration and the clues you uncover.
Support for 15 languages including Welsh.
Sums Steam only; PlayStation publishes no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

The cinematic cutscenes are just BRILLIANT! You have to walk around a lot and explore a lot! Especially at the beginning (this could be a plus or a minus for some players) Dude, just hold your breath if the “Silent One” is nearby (it'll throw him off) +++ No silly jump scares—the whole focus is on the atmosphere and the feeling that “SOMEONE ELSE IS NEARBY.” The MUSIC is mesmerizing, terrifying, and intriguing... I’m happy with everything except the price of the game (even with the discount). It’s way too expensive, guys!
VR VERSION IS AWESOME!

I completed the game (saw good ending and bad ending) after four days, playing a couple of hours each time, and really enjoyed it. Worked on my specific Linux setup. intel+nVidia laptop, Nobara Linux (Fedora based) using WiVRn and a Quest 3 on v79. This game is not for people who: - measure a game's worth by the playtime ("more hours = better" mentality) - are picky about graphics fidelity or demand AAA-quality art (this game's art is not awful but is inconsistent) - need to pick up and/or interact with every part of the scenery that is not even part of the gameplay "to feel immersed" This game is for players who: - enjoy horror / eerie atmosphere and slow-to-medium paced stealth exploration - prefer to focus on a game's progression and main story, and not on secondary tasks EDIT: I got this problem described below in another game as well, so I guess that it is not the game's fault (inverted hands): Still trying to figure out the issue but it is probably something in WiVRn.. [strike]* I did get a small annoying bug where the hands were rotated 180 degrees upside down. For general things like pushing buttons or opening doors this was no problem, but it was a small nuisance to have to twist my hands to read documents when holding them, as if you were trying to read the back part of a magazine. I am not sure about the origin of the bug (the game itself, the Linux distribution, WiVRn..?)[/strike]
I'm 90% sure I bought this and got 2 other games by the devs for free with it, which was SUPER weird to me, especially as those games were trash? But maybe they're looking for exposure? Just worth a mention. THIS game, however, looks like it's promising. I've only played about an hour at the time of this review but it's definitely got some good creepy/puzzle light elements. I'm not expecting a full on shooter game (it's a horror genre after all) and I'm curious about all the "hiding" spots that I can't interact with....yet? But currently, at the surface, this game has promise. For now, I give it a tentative "yes" because it does seem like they put a lot of heart and soul into it, even if it's not the most "cutting edge" graphically (the graphics arent bad, but they're not stellar either). The controls are head and shoulders above another game by the same development team but I'm still a bit miffed that I can't look at something from a few feet away and "interact" with it to "pull" it to me. Call me spoiled - I don't really want to be on top of something to interact with it unless there's an actual necessity for it. Anyway, consider giving this one a buy. I'm a picky gamer (as evidenced by my stream of bad reviews) and if I'm tolerating this well so far, and you like the horror genre, you may enjoy it as well.
absolutely terrifying if you love stealth vr. physically holding your breath in real life for that adrenaline rush is real. using the sound modulator makes the hide and seek actually tense instead of just mindless walking. solid pickup if you enjoy deep lore and almost having a heart attack
