It's alright, Can probably do better in plane9 or after effects still gonna reccomend it though EDIT: Price has gone up, this was free, I would not reccomend buying it for this price, changing my review to a thumbs down Okay so after getting this back i had a look at it, It wasnt that bad until i realised it wants you to pay for more "packs" Yes, you have to pay more on top of the $8 that you spent on this game, If the packs were free once you get the game or the game is free and you have to pay for extra packs, that would be fine. But so far all ive seen is the developer wanting money badly
Wonderful app for drug use! Use responsibly!
A screensaver that reacts to audio output!
Watching a Youtube video, porn, or even listening to music? This software will pick up the sound and have the visuals react accordingly. Don't believe me? I tried listening to music...used the Omega Pirate song from Metroid Prime, worked fine. Then I played the following video...and it worked...: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B_WH43BGdL0 I tested it mute, it still picks up some output, but if you increase the volume, the effect quality increases. There seem to be quite a few things that effect the visuals...volume, output itself (muted or not), beat...I'm not a music guy so I don't know all the audio stuff, so there's probably more this is picking up. Want a free screensaver that shows visuals for the music or videos you're playing while you're AFK or just looking away from the computer for a bit and want something in the corner of your eye, this is the sofware for you...but please...use discretion in what you choose to play and how loud you play it...don't blame me for showing psychedelic visuals while you play loud lesbian porn... 7/10 Needs more visuals....not sure how to stop the auto-rotation of effects, either...
It works on my system. In some ways it's not as good as Milkdrop on Winamp, but I do have to say the way it tracks the music is a lot more pronounced here. Your screen will pulsate to the beat. This is a cool thing to put on a second monitor. Seems like most negative reviews are referring to VR rigs, but I'm just regular desktop over here, and it works like a charm. System: Win7 x64 Pro, Geforce 980, Sound Blaster Software: Audacious and Winamp I'm so old-school, I know.
I enjoyed this in VR. It will be great to use it at my next party on the TV. My only suggestion that would make the app better is to make the visuals change when the songs change. That would make this app go pretty good to pretty damn good.
Decent effects, but you probably want to buy the DLC expansions so it doesn't get too repetitive. Can also run in desktop mode, so you can have your music player or other windows on top.
Visualizers are low quality. Low programming skill. Better to just watch a youtube video of the old Winamp visualizer. The only good thing is this being in VR but the included visualizers are low quality and there's an IAP to be able to see the rest.
SUMMARY: A great way to turn any music (or sound) on your computer into various patterns and displays. If you have a media system or want to run a nice sureeal background and some music on a TV, it's perfect. Plus there's downloadable expansions! MIRAGE is essentially "music screensaver plus," but the words don't quite do it justice. It takes ANY sound on your computer and turns it into one of many abstract, colorful, or psychedelic displays. You can also choose a vareity of settings to switch it up, rotate it, or stay with one display you like. Best of all, if you really need more, there's several downloadable style packs to add even more kinds of displays. Of course this isn't for everyone. I use it on my media/gaming system to create abstract and colorful backgrounds when I write or when we need something ambient and low-key for a party. You could also plug a computer running it into a TV or projector to set the mood or provide a nice background for an event. Who's it for? Well, the review pretty much tells you! Sure, it's not for everyone, but if you like those kind of "atmospheric audio background" you found a great source.
It's like virtual acid trip. Very nice graphics. Thank you developers. :)
