About
Imagine yourself as a DIY handyman, running your own small business in a Polish block of flats during the 1990s. Your mission? To make as much money as possible by cutting costs wherever you can!
Diluting paint with water to make it last for the entire apartment? Sure, the color might not be as vibrant, but who’s going to notice?
Laying tiles without a level? A bit of unevenness adds "character" to the space. After all, what matters is the quick result, not perfection!
Don’t worry—if the client spots any flaws after you’ve left, the profit is already yours!
Furniture doesn’t fit through the door? No problem—quick thinking, open the window, and… everything flies out into the yard! Clean room and a happy client… as long as they didn’t park under the window.
In the hardware store, you’ll be like a seasoned hunter, searching for the cheapest tools that will “sort of” get the job done. A hammer on sale that barely lasts a few hits? Grab two!
After the job’s done, take pride in your work—just ignore those little imperfections!
Take on various renovation and repair jobs. Fixing a flooded bathroom, or maybe a complete remodel? Every day is a new challenge, and every decision can bring a quick profit… or a cascade of problems.

Reviews
I really dislike leaving negative reviews for small developers. In this case, the game just doesn't deliver on what was expected. The ultimate problem is the absence of creativity; you follow a set of instructions to complete a job in a very linear story, and that is it. There is no expression, no tricks - after the first few jobs, it is a grindy and repetitive experience that is more akin to assembling an IKEA desk over and over than a sandbox. It's very disappointing, because the setting is a lot of fun. To be constructive, I think a "creative mode" would improve the game a lot by giving players opportunity to explore the game's variety and decorate their house.
after waiting for this game for a couple years, it was so disheartening to see they used generative AI.
Bought this with a friend and played for a while, he started early and unfortunately went past 2h because there were advertisements about game having multiplayer and he thought he was playing the tutorial. I refunded mine before that time was over and watched him play through the whole game. advertised multiplayer was not there, , and that the premise of hurrying to finish the job before the houseowner arrives and doing a poor job and hiding it would be there. Things like kicking (shown in the official trailer at 0:18) badly placing tiles (0:21, if you try this in game you cannot finish the job), drinking (0:35) etc., also electricity is turbo bugged, you can't even steal a TV because you would not get paid, there is no running from the police like on 1:50, the house and the garden arent even the same map (in the video you can see the garage opening to the exterior of the house at 2:35) and this is just counting from the promotional video. Tiles auto-crook themselves and often fall off even when enough plaster was applied to the wall, dismantling things with a screwdriver to be able to reach the walls you need to paint is regarded as stolen items, you will get a "too much cable used" penalty always when you do electricity, ♥♥♥♥ take because I am the one paying for the cable. all in all, as I see it my friend got scammed and the only reason I did not get scammed is because I watched him get scammed first and immediately requested for a refund. give to players what they bought from you or give them their money back. the premise of this game was to be a "♥♥♥♥♥♥ scammer handyman" game, but instead, I feel like it is a "♥♥♥♥♥♥ scammer's" handyman game. make a sloppy game and sell it to unsuspecting customers, and once they have paid, they discover that you did not do your job of making the game properly. how ironic!
A genius idea held back by bafflingly poor design choices. This game would be a masterpiece if they actually leaned into the idea of it. The idea is that you do repairs as cheaply as possible and with a disregard for the owners property, leading to a comedic twist on home renovation simulators. What you get is a boring home renovation simulator where a polish version of Mario cracks awful jokes and your character constantly spits out quirky oneliners akin to "did that really just happen?" It's really poorly done all across the board and the most fun I had was glitching all of the furniture into the wall with me glitched inside of it. Unfortunately despite the idea being gold, the game is mold.
This is definitely a labor of love from the development team. They have made statements almost daily on discord and have taken serious notice of these steam reviews. I want this game to be good fun and it has the potential of it. Right now I can't in good conscience recommend it. My biggest problem with it is the storyline progression and the incremental upgrading. After 7 hours in game I've made $5000 but have only just unlocked the painters blue tape at this point. How long is the story going to drag out for before I can gear up on better tools and equipment. Honestly Id rather play as the big Polish guy living at the apartments and given free roam to do apartment repairs, side jobs and just explore. Maybe an optional endless play mode from the main story? I'll follow up on this game later with the hopes it has improved. Also hoping this will appear as a game on Geforce Now so I can stream it on my potato of a PC.
I managed to moderately like this game for a good while, and it has some outstanding features in my opinion, but boy does it get infuriating eventually. I'll start with positives: - It is genuinely okay as a building simulator game, although I am not a connoisseur of these. It was nice to kill some time just plastering and painting walls, these mechanics are enjoyable, especially once you unlock upgraded intruments. -I liked the average Polish residential area setting. It culturally speaks to me on the same level, so it was in a way nostalgic to explore the apartments and the outdoor areas, recognizing stuff from own childhood. I also appreciated how many collectibles are thrown around here and there, all giving a little piece of Polish lore, and it felt like some love and effort actually went into making these. - As a follow-up to the previous point, the humor is great and all jokes are on point, I really cackled quite a few times while playing. Now to the negatives i guess: - Well, as mentioned in many other reviews - the trailer is a big fat lie. I tried to think around it for as long as I could. Bc like, well, trailers are meant to be selling, I guess there's always SOME overestimation of what the game is like. But in this case I think the overestimation was too huge. It felt like the game was advertised as a complete sandbox, with random challenges and a lot of dynamic connections between your actions, objects around, and clients' reactions to your work, but in fact it's quite a dull and tedious experience instead. - It is still buggy. There are some things that you just can't do well, I guess because they were just not made to be working - the masking tape for example does nothing, leaving paint right under it. What made me finally give up and uninstall the game was finding that most of the objects I purchased for Macjek's house moved around or altogether disappeared when I returned there after another mission. Some creativity allowed in that house was something that actually motivated me to keep completing the tedious missions, but now not knowing if the results will stay in place the next time I enter the house is quite frustrating. - And yes, the missions are tediuous. The gameplay itself is monotonous as hell, and even the "plot development", such as it is, stops saving it at some point. - Wiring mechanic is a terrible pain in the ass. - AI-generated content. Come on, was it impossible to find any real music by Polish artist to play from the radio? That would bring out the atmosphere even more and would at least add some joy to the dull process of completing tasks around apartments. To sum up, especially after playing for some time this game feels a bit like a fraud. Can't recommend.
game bugs every MILISECOND, laggy when loading. i tried to attach a shelf on the wall and it just dissapeared and i had to buy a new one, while buying a new one i bought a couch for 250 zł by ACCIDENT by double pressing something which you HAVE to double press in a loading screen game tries to crash itself twice which is pretty annoying
