Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 14 → 0.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Game has a ton of bugs. Normally I'd dismiss these as "quirky" but it gets extremely annoying when you bump into a nearby table for the 200th time on the log cabin level and it STILL makes a pop-up showing the tutorial. Look at the table sideways? Pops up the tutorial. Not paying attention when moving logs around and you brush it with your hip? Pops up the tutorial. Every. Single. Time. THAT annoyance coupled with things not working right (accidentally picking up a ladder you're trying to use when you're carrying a log, getting too close to a table saw and having it start turning the big log you're carrying into plywood with no way to cancel it before it starts cutting) makes me very adamant about warning people away from this unless they're perfectly fine with a whole new level of jank. Wish I could refund this crap. (On a personal note, I bought this at the end of April and sat on it for a bit before playing since I was in the middle of playing other things, but this'll be the last time that ever happens. So there's one small good thing that's come out of this game; no other mediocre game will get my money until I'm absolutely ready to play it that very second!)

I can't give any review on the gameplay or content since I have no idea what it includes and can't actually load the game to see it. I make it to 89% before the game freezes and crashes. The devs have known about this for years and haven't actually done anything to fix the issue (aside from having you email them) judging on their pinned discussion posts. There's also a laundry list of other bugs and issues players seem to have based on the discussions, but instead of fixing them the devs have focused on making more content for you to buy. I'm just hoping my refund request goes through, though I highly doubt it will.
This friggin' game man. I have extremely mixed feelings about this game. One of the objectively worst games I've played in a long time. It's so bad and hard to play, I actually had a sick kind of fun in playing it. Like one of those brutally hard games you would find in an arcade machine somewhere. If you're looking for an ironically bad game, this is a good pick. If you're looking for an actually good house building game, I can recommend House Flipper 1 (not remastered) or 2. +++ The house building aspect is actually pretty detailed. In both a good and bad way. There was a certain aspect of despair when I realised I have to hand cut, section, sand, and place, all the many MANY MANY logs in a log cabin. Have you ever counted how many logs are actually in a log cabin??? There's a lot. Starting from the roots. As in, literal living trees, with a chainsaw. But there was also a sense of pride and accomplishment (unironically) when I completed the whole damn thing. + The skill tree is a bit insane, in a good way. Things like, you get 3 trees per tree. Or, you are better at cutting ice bricks for igloos. What an oddly specific skill?! -- The performance is pretty bad. Lots of lag spikes. --- There is not that many levels in the game. But the game also wants you to tediously create every single brick from scratch and place them one by one manually, so those levels get a lot of mileage. --- The visual and audio design of this game is not great. Menus are bulky and ugly and distracting. Sound effects and music are annoying. Characters are strange looking and animations are awkward. --- Moving around is slow, clunky, and awkward. I feel frustrated just walking between objects. --- Many bugs in this game, both big and small. From walking sounds repeating while tutorials are on screen, to the chainsaw sound playing constantly (ughh), to options menu drop down lists failing to select or scroll, to things being clicked that you're not even hovering, to actions failing to work, to the toolbar not changing tools properly. Actually a really funny bug I found was an object got clipped into a wall, and when I tried to move it, pulling it out hard enough would pop out a duplicate clone of that object. I just needed a moment after that one like WHAT. It made the level much shorter though because I had infinite materials. You take the good bugs with the bad. Another funny bug was once I successfully carved some ice for my igloo, it spawned all in a great pile of bouncy bricks occupying the same space, and catapulted around the entire level like a Garry's mod confetti explosion. The first level is also the only level with a time limit, which is certainly a choice as I scavenged around the level for all the bouncy bricks. --- The controls man. These fudging controls. At first, I tried to play this game with controller. You cannot play this game via controller. 1 second into the game, the menu cannot be navigated with controller. You can't load into the first level. Let's say you use a mouse to select your level. You can now walk around a bit, but actually picking up and using tools is impossible. You will glitch out a bit and begin the animation, but cannot actually do the needful. My first level was an igloo, but when I try to get more ice my character dry humps the air instead of using the knife to carve more ice. Same thing happens on the other first beginner map. Ok, I plugged in a mouse temporarily, which allowed me to carve the ice, but mouse on the TV for a 3D game? Really? This is the first few minutes of gameplay. I've not seen such a broken game in a long time. Further into the game, you enter this really interesting state where both mouse AND controller are broken. Some actions work only with the mouse, some only with the controller. So you can't even just use mouse and keyboard to play the entire game. This is just inexcusably bad. The only way to play this game is with the cursed and unholy combination of gamepad and mouse… I dug out a wireless mouse to play on my TV, using the couch as a mousepad, and my left hand on the controller. Overall, I ended up playing this game a decent amount, and had a strange kind of fun playing it. Does that mean I recommend it to others? No. I think most people will hate this game. But just let it be on record, that, despite how objectively bad this game is, I enjoyed it somewhat. If they tidied this game up a lot it'd actually be pretty good. But I cannot recommend it in it's current state; I think most people will hate it.
underwhelming. 17 hours don't seem long, but I have built several houses in game including the very problematic European masonry house. Instruction, help, and documentation are ambiguous and sometimes hard to follow or understand; game items names aren't consistent leading to confusion, and just lots of clicking with close to no freedom in creation. Not to mention the pop-up help thingy that really gets in the way, or the weird bugs espc if you change keybinds. After a while it gets very tedious and boring. When I finally built the half timber house, the walls are getting better (at least with a quasi finishing) but there's no interior doors and there's nothing you can do to paint the walls, so what's even the point of buying furniture? Edit to respond to developer's response: I am sorry, even after playing about another 20 extra hours after writing the previous preview, what I wrote in my first preview still stands. The "tedious and boring" part actually even aren't the most problematic aspect; the bugs are -- changed keybinds don't match description, changed keybinds don't sync with the help panel, help panel popping up whenever you scratch by it if you aren't careful enough, and several others i have reported in game or complained on the discord; items in shop having names not consistent with help panel or blueprint (I have to make sure they look exactly alike and my eyesight isn't good). Because of all these I simply stop at 38 hours. I guess being able to learn the basics of building is one of the few pros I can actually praise, because that is educational, especially for kids.
Absoultely do NOT recommend. I have played for HOURS and it COMPLETELY RESET MY PROGRESS and there's no way to get it back.
A very fun sim game about building houses. I played it on PSN a few years back and remember feeling like the game ended WAY to soon but I'm happy to say that they have added tons of levels-not even counting the DLCs. Its a little janky as most sims are but that just adds to the charm of games like these. If you ever wanted to FLING boards at a wall and watch it somehow create a house or make mud bricks to build a house this is the one
Decided to pick this game up again because of the new event and I was reminded why I sat it down in the first place. The game is buggy in the weirdest ways and the level designs feel like an afterthought. I spent 20 minutes looking for a pressure washer only to find out that I needed to restart all of my work in a level because it simply didn't load when I launched the level. Then in the next level I decided to try I was immediately soft locked because my truck got stuck, I wasn't trying to do anything but follow where I was supposed to go and it got stuck. It's like one thing after another with this game and the challenge doesn't even come with building the houses, the challenge comes from fighting this game to let you do so.
Excellent Game, Very Easy To Play, Superb Graphics And Definitely A Good Way To Cure Boredom.
